None of my payments have been reversed because :

I always create my own BUY NOW button and select products as my item

Do that and maybe your payments will not be reversed. Lets just hope for the best now

paypal has reversed my 300.4$ which was a business payment. So it doesn't matter whether it is personal or business.

I never face many chargebacks. Offer bonuses and quick support and awesome product. You will never face the problems of chargebacks.
In my 2 years on selling stuff I have got merely 15-20 chargebacks.

Better option is transfer the money using xoom and shift our merchant account to money bookers or google check out. I am thinking about it.

Solution is simple

Generate a buy now button in paypal->merchant services or send a money request via paypal to your buyers.

dude I can't make different buttons for each transaction as my clients not always buy the same quantity.

creating buttons or loosing money?

Create some 10 or 20 buttons for various quantities and you will be good to go.

Same problem here.

Got almost $2529 reversed to 2 buyers with paypal claiming it to be personal transfers when they were not.

Also $380 stuck for the last 3 days. I was trying to withdraw the same to my bank acct.

I know a friend who has $1200 being refunded back as well.

I am very worried as $2500 is not a small amount for me and now I dont know if the buyer will return it back or not. I do not know if paypal has the right to make such changes without letting people know in advance.

Hope things get better coz if my buyer does not pay me back and paypal still refuses to do anything, I am going to sue them for such an action (Hope I would have that right).

So if I sell something to someone in India, there is a chance the money can be taken from my account and put back in theirs without my consent?

I always make a buy it now button and copy paste my email link. I usually do services, since that's what I've been doing but is this gonna screw me over?

don't confuse ppls. Gaypal officially wrote:- to avoid reversals we should get payments via *******Goods****** only. I have got couple of payments with goods and nothing got reversed yet.

I think its time to explore other services ... Xoom looks good but only if you want to transfer higher amounts..On the positive side, they offer higher exchange rates and same day delivery to certain banks..

YES without shipping address how one can ship goods lol.. However it seems now the reversal problem has been solved. Now we can get payments with Services/Others option also.. I have read some posts on other forum that guys have got payments as Services/Others option and they didn't get reversed.

seems things are getting better.

Thaz Great News Thanks dheer ,bigbuddy & blackmagicmaster the information you shared was very usefull.Hope everything goes well but still the transfers to banks not done by gaypal today got mail frm gaypal saying now all amt transfered to banks will be again back seen in our gaypal account balance within 24hrs .if any more info about it, do keep updating.

Update : Funds which i transferred to my bank account was reversed. Now What? Shall we try again?

One More Update : I tried transferring money thru Xoom from my paypal account to my bank account and got credited now. But it takes 3 - 4 days. Use Coupon "webxoomremit" for zero transaction fee.

Its conversion rates i also lost $21 less.gaypal converted $ into RS when we transfered now when reversed back it converted Rs into $ so it became less.According to there calculation everything is correct.So it is not fees .we will not get back anything

You are lucky bro. But i cant even go for zoom. They are charging 15$ and the code is not working for me.

lost around $40 in paypal conversion and i choose the cash pickup option in zoom and i even payed the extra charges since i needed the money urgently but my transaction got cancelled. And when i contacted zoom, this is the response i got

Instead using cash pick up option, use bank transfer. It went smooth for me. Can you provide the details, how much time it took for the reversal by xoom.

they reversed it in a few minutes when i tried the transfer first time. i called them up and they took a complaint from me and i got the response i mentioned in the previous post. i tried it one more time and this time it got cancelled after a few hours time.

just planning to call them up again. and would you suggest trying transfering to bank account using the same account or with a new account ?
