Re: Need advice with hosting and autoblog
1) I would really discourage using a free-hosting service. You might be better off with an automated email-to-post strategy on a Blogger (or other similar free service) blog. That way you also don't have to pay for the domain.
2) If you insist on hosting your domain on a free-hosting service, you can change once you decide to go to paid. You would have to back up your WP database and your WP install so that you can deploy it on the new service. You would also have to change nameservers for the domain.
Code:
signature = "Insert smart-assed observation here.";
System.out.println(signature);

Basicly that, DreamHost is $10.00 a year, but I've heard a lot of bad things about them recently with server/mysql issues, that could be a option if your on a tight-budget, although if your fine with $10.00/month, I highly suggest host gator. I've got 20+ websites running on my $10/month account with them.

Re: Need advice with hosting and autoblog
I would go with BLUEHOST. I've had absolutely NO problems with them. Why have other people had problems? I read a few that did....

1)I use 000webhost, completely free, and works well.
Here's my autoblog hosted there:
Code:

2)Yeah but there's no need to get paid hosting.

Re: Need advice with hosting and autoblog
most shared hosting sites imo dont like autoblog plugins that load their servers. start with a vps. thats how i do it.

Self hosting is so cheap these days.. Save on a fast food meal and you will be able to pay for a month of hosting already!

Re: Need advice with hosting and autoblog
For the autoblogs, couldn't we just feed off the free hosts that enables plugins like WP o matic? Also, have any experienced an Adsense ban from a large autoblog network?

Talking to many users and from my own experience myself I'll recommend these three
hostmonster,

I didn't experience this, though : )
If you'd like to get a WP running smoothly and hassle-free,
think twice with 000webhost.
They have poor customer support.
They ignore tickets.
If you have successfully set up WP the first time with your domain,
try adding a new domain name to manage and you'll get ERROR.
If you'll ask customer support why you had the error,
they'll tell you either of the three is the culprit:
1) you use banned keyword (even if not)
2) you are using the same name servers (of course what else would you use?)
3) and the proxy thingie which a non techie geek could hardly understand.
If you think the problem is solved after bringing the issue to them?
All they'd tell you is to wait for 2 WEEKS
and the ban will be lifted automatically... 2 WEEKS?!
Yes, 2 weeks. They'd tell you,
They CANNOT do anything.
Ask them if this thing also happen to their PAID HOSTING Plans?
They'd tell you... No, it does not.
OK, I got it.
You are paying for what FREE Web hosting is really WORTH.
So, I don't have a choice, but get a decent paid hosting service
with another web host.
