Best AutoBlogging Plugin For WP - Page 2

@singingsleep: Thanks for your feedback. I have heard about the bug(s) you are speaking of with WP-O-Matic, and other WP autoblog plugins as well. I'm sure I have heard of a fix for this somewhere, I'm not totally sure. It could of just been the fix for grabbing whole articles instead of just part of an article, which seems to be the most common bug among WP autoblog plugins. Yes, it would also be nice to know if anyone is successfully using WP-O-Matic or any other WP autoblog plugin successfully with WordPress 2.8?

@anakha: I'm not sure on an answer to your question, but it is definitely a good question. Are you having success doing it with a certain plugin on forum areas that are not password protected or are the password protected areas your only problem? Also, if you care to share, which plugin are you using? Thanks.

i had a plugin before my server crached and everything want missing, and i cant remember the name or find it again, though it could only use not password protected area and the first post on the forum was the "main" post on the wp, and all the answers did convert into comments

You can also try Yaab (yet another auto blogger) its free and has a interesting interface.

This plugin has already been mentioned previously in this thread, and it even has its own thread. But, what gets me is that it seems that no one has any feedback concerning its usefulness, and no one seems eager to try it out.

If anyone has tried out this plugin (or has plans to), please reply on either this thread, the official Yaab thread, or both.

The thing about the autoblog you have to make sure its relevant to your niche.. It also has to be unique content not garbage information.. or else it wont be indexed

Yoast [d0t] c0m appears to be down at the moment, but it is a very big SEO blog so I am sure this is just temporary! The link I posted from Yoast is a very good one, and deals with the Redirection plugin, the HeadSpace plugin, and so much more! The other links are very informative as well!

I used to have autoblogged but that gave me scheduling problems with WP2.7 so I swapped to wp-o-matic and it 's been running happily ever since.

Thank you so much for such a detailed post! I figured AutoBlogged would be the best option for most people, since it is updated constantly and seems to have outstanding support. It is also very good to hear that it is compatible with the newest version of WordPress; that's amazing!

I have a question, however. What did you mean by "missing submit button and adding more feeds function?" Is that a common bug or a common mistake people make in their settings with AutoBlogged?

rawasch posted a free yahoo answers plugin in another post, do a search and you'll find it. It works good, way better than CC currently for yahoo posts. I also notice he was banned, not sure that that is all about. Make sure you check the code with free plugins.

CC has issues these days. Yahoo answers not working at all, articles don't work and Youtube brings in way more videos than you ask for, if it works. In the day it rocked, sad to see its demise. I only use it for video now, but it needs a complete overhaul.

wpomatic is good, better if you edit and make modifications.

Autoblogged lets you choose whether you want to cache them or hotlink them. It can also just cache a local thumbnail of the pic rather than the original.

Wpomatic is the bomb . She has alot of features .... most pple want other plugins cos they are lazy to sit an think ..... there isnt going to be a plugin that can beat wpomatic....

YAAb might have don so but the dumb doctor didnt program the thing to work with crons on its own.....

Mate, agree Wp-o-matic is the best free tool, but it's too buggy.. I'm getting errors with both wpomatic and Yaab.. Autoblogged, Wprobot etc works fine.. And caffinated content didn't work for me either

I use Autoblogged and I think it's great. Gives you tons of options and you can filter certain posts by checking for whatever words you want (ex. if the rss feed you're grabbing from is a little general and you only want stuff related to business, you can easily set up a post filter to get business related stuff only). The only problem I have with it is that it can't grab Youtube videos that are embed in the post (unless I'm doing it wrong).

YAAB is pretty good but it doesn't have as much options. Watch out, if you leave the settings on default, YAAB will post the same rss entry dozens of times

CC 3.3.1 still works like a dream - 3.3.7 does not work, as attested to by the owner. 3.3.5 works intermittently.

wp-o-matic works ok, just got to set it up.

I finished 2.0 on Tuesday, if you checkout the sales page and go to interface demo you can see what working with the plugin is like.

I'm still waiting on any mod to get back to me on opening a sales thread and until then note my signature.

IMO I think WP Robot is completely awesome for autoblogging. I just got into it and have had no problems so far. It's worth a peak, but I guess it's each to their own in this kind of thing. Play with a few plug-ins and figure out which works for you.

so far im using wpomatic and so far so good
jz im not that good with codes so i couldnt strip some of the links out especially those left at the end of post (permalink,email this, etc)
