Optimizing Wordpress

How can i optimize my wordpress blog? I have individual post that contains huge amount of products, ranging from 20-60 each with summaries/ descriptions. I have used wp cache, those database optimizer, etc. nothing seems to work. the page loads for about 35-60 seconds. I set my wp cache to delete cache files in 40800 seconds. Anybody help? any recommended ideas or plugin? Thank you!

maybe one of your plugins is causing this
you should exclude one plugin at a time and check everytime if the pageload time changes for the better

It turns your blog into a static site, so you get real .html files. Its great because the server instead of answering say 10 queries just sends 2 the page and css file.

Really-static is a great plug in if you are having troubles, although it can causes theme updates to take longer to come into place, same with cache - But it's worth waiting a hour or so to see your updated theme settings for a faster loading blog.

If you've got images, you'll have to optimize each of them as well. See if you can use gzip compression on your host - this will have a big impact.

Which theme are you using? If it is an artisteer generated theme this one tends to load pretty slowly.
