Smile (Always) Updated collection of Autoblogging plugins and tips - RudeMaudlin's AB Guide.

    Autoblogs.
Its been nearly 6 months, while I am working on them. Gained enough insight and knowledge.

    Hello all,
I am new to BHW. And, Just wanted to share my ideas on Autoblogging.
I will be writing up Five Detailed Threads on autoblogging, aimed at directing you make your own autoblogs.
    1. (Always) Updated Collection of Autoblogging Plugins and tips.
    2. How to do an effective Keyword Analysis.
    3. Step-by-Step Guide on Setting Up a decent Autoblog.
    4. Things to Take Care of while Autoblogging.
    5. How to convert Summary Feeds to Full feeds.

    Starting on.

(Always) Updated Collection of Autoblogging Plugins and tips.

This thread deals with various autoblogging plugins and softwares around the net.
The ones you should use. From Keyword Digging to various tips in between.
(The idea comes from NikhilG's thread, which is not updated for some reasons, I am not aware of.)
The plugins, I use, are shared in a neat "wp-content" folder, which you can readily upload to your wordpress blog.
Most plugins/softwares here, are shared at the end.

    1. Keyword Digging
      • Google Keyword Tool - the best keyword analysis tool ever.
      • Market Samurai
      • Micro Niche Finder

The last two are paid softwares. But, nonetheless, Google Keyword Tool works best.
(watch for my Keyword Analysis thread.)
      ...
    2. Basic Plugins (Plugins you should have in any blog)
      • Adsense Deluxe - selectively embed Google AdSense and Yahoo! Publisher Network ads in your WordPress posts.
      • Akismet - so you never have to worry about spam again.
      • HeadSpace2 - an all-in-one meta-data manager that allows you to fine-tune the SEO potential of your site.
      • Platinum SEO pack - Optimizes your Wordpress blog for Search Engines (Search Engine Optimization).
      • WP DB-Backup - backup your core WordPress database tables.
      • Wordpress Automatic Upgrade - automatically upgrade the wordpress installation to the latest one.
      • Google XML Sitemaps - create a Google sitemaps compliant XML-Sitemap of your WordPress blog.
      • Google Sitemap Generator - generates a XML-Sitemap compliant sitemap of your WordPress blog.
      • Yet another related posts plugin - gives you a list of posts and/or pages related to the current entry.

All of these plugins are included in "wp-content" folder.
      ...
    3. Getting the content.
Getting content for your blog is, indeed, a decisive part of autoblogs.
The way, I do this is either fetching up some feeds, or fetching articles through some plugin.
I am not a big fan of Unique content, and in my opinion, it doesn't matter if you have duplicate content, till you are covering up your ass well.
      • wp-o-matic - makes autoblogging a snap by automatically creating posts from the RSS/Atom feeds
      • Caffeinated Content - a nice little plugin to instantly fetch content from article directories, Yahoo answers, and YouTube.
      • WP VideoTube - if you prefer building Video-blogs, or want videos from YouTube, this one is for you.
      • Unique Article Wizard Plugin - Adds some unique articles daily to your blog, on assigned keywords. This one is useful, if your keyword is broad.
      • Autoblogged - well..
      • Rewriters
Converting your duplicate content to Unique unreadable content.
        • Wordpress WriteAgain! - A plugin for rewriting your content. Though, sometimes repeats words inside the rewritten content. The owner is BHW member, and is saying to release a new version to deal with the problem.
        • Syncontent - A nice plugin to rewrite your content. Prefer this one, over WP WriteAgain!, atleast till the update is out.
      • WP Spinner - spins your content, everytime someone visits your blog.

      ...
    4. Some Tips.
      • Do not install more than 6 autoblogs on same hosting. As far as possible, try to use separate C-class IPs for blogs in same niche.
      • Try to keep your Content posting timings random.
      • Take special care of your blog themes and footprints.
      • Do not post more than 4-5 posts per day for one blog. Although, until the content is indexed by Google, or before Gbot comes to your site, you can add bulk posts at once.
      • If you are building a blog-farm, try to keep them unlinked. Also, the growth should be organic.
      • Try to randomize your blog designs, layouts, posting habits, adsense layouts, etc. The more is the randomness, the better are the chances of your blogs' survival.

You can just copy this "wp-content" folder to your blog's ftp, to make your blog autoblogging-ready.

Contains "syncontent" plugin to make your duplicated content unique.

No need for wp automatic upgrade plugin as new versions have this feature already. Would recommend a cache plugin [I prefer hyper cache myself]. A social networking plugin/poster plugin would be recommended to so you can bookmark posts to get traffic [and twitter plugins bring in nice twitter/twitter updating sites traffic].

Do not use unique article wizard plugin in conjunction with any rewriter--it's against their tos, they will let you get away with it for some time however, but eventually stop sending posts until you restore the posts to normal. It's a big drain on resources anyhow and would recommend not using it anymore anyhow.

WP spinner is good only if you are going to preschedule posts in spinner format...otherwise it is useless for autoblogs; it only spins posts based on spin format--not regular posts.

Also recommend adding the mate's duplicate post eraser found on this forum. It is the shitz! I absolutely want to kiss him for it, and I don't do dudes!

Nice gathering though; helpful to have all the files to easily install for mates~
Blah blah blah; not like you'll do anything anyhow~

I think the problem is more to do with IP address than the actual server. The reasoning being if a auto-blog is discovered then all the sites on that IP might be investigated too.

well, as per me, installing more than 6-8 autoblogs on same hosting leaves you more prone to the hazzards. Google just doesnt see the foorprints. The way you blog, your adsense and analytics code, etc. are taken into consideration. I just feel a bit more secure with running that much autoblogs on one hosting. If it works for you, well done.

depends on the plugins you are using; if you use a package such as the one in the OP, you will be using many processes that will not make the host very happy. I've heard of mates juggling 25 blogs on one host; it's not a matter of the linking [that's only pertinent if you are thinking about interlinking anyhow], just the strain you put on your host. And if you have a crappy host, this should be thought about too. =P

Yup, exactly. Preferably, you should always set up your autoblogs so that the posting times, or the times when different cron jobs run, are not together. This way, the load on the server will be lesser, and your webhost will be happier..
But, however, you do it. Having more than, like 6-8 blogs on one hosting, makes the different processes coincide...

You know one of the biggest footprints Google is using more and more? Adsense Pub-ID, anyone can buy a block of Ip's for $1 a piece or several shared hosting accounts but getting a bunch of Adsense accounts is difficult.

I've got one Adsense account that sends any site it's placed on belly up in the SERP's. If all your Adsense sites suck, this may be why.

I don't get the repetition of similar plugz, like CC and Wp-o-matic, UAC and Write again, Headspace 2 and Platinum SEO, etc?
Are you using them at the same time?
    Thanks

They are not similar plugins omoxx, and are provided for your choice or requirements.
CC --> Fetch content from various articles directories, yahoo answer and Youtube. It then, adds those posts to your blog automatically, using scheduled posts feature. No cron-job support, as of now. duplicate content. (the rewriter is useless)
wp-o-matic --> fetch feed content from a feed, on a cron job basis. duplicate content. (synonmizer is useless)
UAC --> articles are delivered to your blog, from an article base matching your keywords. This is basically a service. "almost" unique content.
WriteAgain! --> Use to rewrite your duplicate content into unique content. can be interchanged with "syncontent" plugin.
Headspace2 --> its a meta-data writer, used in SEO. Though it has some nice features which omit the use of various other plugins, like google analytics etc. but can be avoided, as is resource-consuming.
Platinum SEO pack --> the best SEO plugin available yet, IMO.

I hope I answer it well.
    Thanks
    RudeMaudlin.

consider dagon sitemap generator too, so you have 2 sitemap generator in your blogs

    1. google xml sitemap -> xml sitemap, for search engine
    2. dagon sitemap -> easy readable, for visitors

this is a very nice collection indeed. I love UAW plug in since you don't really have to write a thing, it'll just pull articles for you automatically.

    nice share!

I am sorry, but it was Dagon Design Sitemap Generator, which I got confused with Google Sitemap Generator, while making this thread
Google XML Sitemaps: makes the sitemaps and submits to various SEs
DD Sitemap Generator: makes a sitemap page on your blog, making it easier for visitors, and esp. spiders to crawl your site.

I found one plugin, which was updated as on, March 21, 2009, for the new adsense privacy policy. I have attached it at the end of this message.
Alternatively, you can get it from here (conatins full readme and help):
    Code:

CC is buggy, but has its own unique purpose. UAW, at the same time, can not be used for narrow niches, while CC works perfectly for these.

The above setup of plugins is resource-intensive. And, hence is not advisable for like more than 6-8 blogs on same hosting. Though, it doesnt matter if you use the same plugin. But, even yet, try to randomize your blog-building pattern. Different themes, different way of writing, etc.
The more randomization, the more its humane for google.

drive traffic just as with any other site. look for methods all around the forums. they are not extraordinary [though there are a few that really are...lol...but they are here] and not specific to autoblogs. if you are not wanting to do the work yourself to get the traffic, add more videos to your blogs as these attract much traffic on their own.

you can still add videos: how to seo your sites, how to setup a wordpress blog, blogging, seo, etc. Youtube is filled with instructional videos just as it is with any other videos. Don't say it cannot be done until you try.

If you really did all those sources, you would be getting some traffic from them. I know this. Any time I post even a piece of crap blog post to even one like stumbleupon, I get traffic. It's not the best traffic because it is a crap post, but just for testing purposes it was. I cannot believe people cannot get traffic.

Use a twitter plugin too. IDK if it's mentioned in the OP's post or not, but many twitter plugins are available and will bring in traffic eventually from twitter and twitter updating sites. Look into onlywire for almost completely automating the bookmarking process too.

one blog is perfect to start out with; you won't earn enough to quit your day job or anything like that from it, but it's great for trial and error until you find a system that works. You can certainly be earning a few bucks a day from one blog though if you choose the right niche and get traffic to it. A mate I setup 5 blogs for less than two weeks ago reported to me a couple of days ago that he has earned $8-10 in adsense already of those 5 blogs. He did his research and found some nice keyword domain names and once the blogs were installed, he did his own traffic methods. I saw the stats and he hasn't even touched the surface on the amount of traffic he can get if he continues as he is going so you really do not need hundreds of blogs to be earning truthfully.
Blah blah blah; not like you'll do anything anyhow~

    one of two options:

    1. get a twitter adder or use macros or add others yourself or use the twitter 'hack' ernest posted a while back....in other words...find a way to follow others so they will follow you back

    or

    2. wait for others to find you and they will automatically add you.

the traffic will still come from the twitter updating sites too--you'll notice a lot of traffic from tinyurls and twitterurlys or w/e those updating site names are.
Blah blah blah; not like you'll do anything anyhow~

Seriously, its not at all boosting for me. Can some AutoBlogging Guru please enligten me. I am really desperate to make success in autoblogging...some one please help me
    Thanks in adv.
Firstly, STOP POSTING like 10-20 articles within the same date. Continue doing so, and your blog will soon be marked as splog.
Secondly, can you tell me if you were getting decent traffic at any time in past? As, you seem to be having a nice number of posts indexed and also, equally nice number of backlinks. Though, I feel like you are overdoing the black stuff, like excessive postings, frequent SB submissions, etc.
Talk to me on Yahoo, and we are sure to work it out.

also apart from traffic, i am using just one autoblog..do u think dats fyn nd can earn me some money??...do i need to have multiple blogs in order to make autoblogging success?.
OOppss..sorry for asking so many questions at one go... ..its just dat my mind is illed with curiousity..

Anyways, thanks for the prompt reply...
Also, try to mix your videos and articles, instead of posting a series of videos one after other. Makes blog appear better.
I cant get a clue, why the traffic from social bookmarking engines wont come.
As shylesson said, the first of your autoblog should be for trial and error, and once you are done experimenting, you should rinse and repeat your prior method to some new blogs and expand slowly, till you can manage.
Though, honestly, you wont need like 40-60 blogs to have a success. Any blog's success is defined by the niche its based on. Find a narrow and profitable niche, and work on it, and you will get nice returns from a couple of these.

try following some renowned persons in your niche, e.g. Darren Rowse and follow his followers. Eventually, they will start following you. Then use a service like Twitter Karma to unfollow the persons who are not following you.
Continue doing so, to increase your twitter followers.
Then use a Twitter plugin like Twitter Tools, to post to twitter about your new post automatically. This will definitely bring decent traffic to your blog.

    Twitter Karma:
    Code:
    http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/
    Twitter Tools:
    Code:
    http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/twitter-tools.1.6.zip

Oh by the way, adding followers can be made easier, and faster using iMacro addon on firefox.
    Good Day

thanks for the privacy policy update man

btw twitter tools conflict with cc, so i use pingfm and the plugin (search this forum for more info)

also, one other question hope it not sound retarded

Say, if you upload lots of plugins to wordpress and it slow down your blog, does you have to delete the plugins to make your blog load faster or could just disable it (and make it inactive)... sorry if my english suck lol

so to make my blog faster :
    - i must disable and delete the plugins OR
    - can i just disable it and make it inactive in wp-panel ?
