[HELP] Question regarding WordPress Categories

This issue has been bugging me for a while, so I decide to ask here:

I have a website that currently has a brand category (i.e Nike, Puma, Adidas, etc.), but I also want to create a category for men's shoes, women's shoes, and kid's shoes. Now, suppose I have a review article about a Nike shoes for men. Is it okay for the article to be under two categories, SEO-wise? What would be a good way to deal with this? Personally, I don't think it's a good idea, but I also want to hear from more experienced people in the forum.

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It should be no problem with an article being featured under two site categories. It's not like you would duplicate the content on two separate sites or blogs.
