Most of you guys probably already know this info but its good for all the newbies out there.

How do I show ads between my posts?

If you want to show ads between your posts but chose not to do it while initially signing up for AdSense, first go to your Template | Page Elements tab. Then, in the "Blog Posts" section, click on "Edit". A pop-up window will appear with options to configure your blog posts. Check the box next to "Show Ads Between Posts". (Note: You must be signed up for AdSense before you can check this box.

Once you check this box you'll see the configuration options for your ads. You can then select how often you would like ads to be shown after your posts.

For example, if you want ads to be displayed after every post, select "1" from the drop-down menu. (Please note that AdSense policies limits you to a total of 3 ad units per page and Blogger will automatically prevent you from going over this limit.) You can then select your ad format and colors. Once you have finished configuring your ads, click on the orange "Save Changes" button in the bottom right corner.

I do not think any information here is dumb. Much of it is learned, known and then forgotten so I always appreciate the memory nudge. Correct me if I am wrong, but were we not all noobs once? In fact, there are still many facets of SEO that I am still a noob at and eager to learn more every day!!

do you know how to put ads in the post it self

Log into your blogger and on your dashboard hit layout.In layout you will see boxes look for gagets...Click gagets and scroll down you will see adsense.Click that and it will set you up....It should already know your pub ID.Remember google only allows 3 sections of ads,thats it.But I think they control that now.

It's very helpful to me. Practice will help memory a lot. Maybe I should take some action now.

I explained all that in the original post.Google will only allow you to have 3 ad units on your front page.So if your blog already has 3 ad units like for example in your side bar or some at the bottom or top,using this method wont work.You have to get rid of your other adsense ads then you can show ads between posts.
