Hi guys! I have a blog on getting your ex back, but I include general dating advice and tips as well.

I actually post quality things on my blog straight from my head, and personal experience(throwing in a product here and there) and got my website indexed without a problem a few days ago. I've been trying to do as much SEO as possible, but I'm not even getting any traffic. My page doesn't even rank either. It's indexed but it's not even on page 1-20 as far as I can tell. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

"got me website indexeded a few days ago" That's your problem, don't expect to rank straight away in a niche that competitive!
 
Its better you to consult a seo person who can check each and everything about your website.
So go for that
 
Sounds like a link or content issue (or both)

Add some more social profile links and relevant blog comments etc, using different keywords from your main keyword.

And it will take time, decent SEO doesn't pop up overnight.
 
SEO is slow game!
Do it slowly and wait...
that is all!

Google algorithm works like that. It won't give new sites good SEO score in first few months.
On other side you can do aggressive link building and push it on top very quickly but it will stay there just week or two.

So, go slowly bro.
 
Thanks guys! Is there someone who's an expert on SEO who can talk with me? When I get a better ranking I'll be willing to pay good $$$ for help
 
You need keyword research and then backlinks for that keywords. After that, you will rank and have traffic.
 
- Did you research the keywords properly? I remember on one of my sites when I was using the Google Adwords Keyword Tool, I had "broad match" selected instead of "exact match." Someone brought this to my attention and I checked it again; sure enough, my site was all optimized for a dead keyword that had about 50 searches per month. No wonder nobody was showing up and buying stuff.

- Maybe "as much SEO as possible" still isn't enough... Try building more links (natural looking, obviously) I know the dating niche is one of the biggest and most competitive.

- Did you use some low quality, spammy SEO service or method? Maybe it left a giant footprint and Google slapped you.

Also, Deki33 is right: it takes months sometimes. Just keep grinding away at it.

I clearly cutted his whole message and left just the "... as much SEO as possible..." part. In case you didnt got my question, the guy is probably over optimizing his site and I wanted to know exactly what he has done hence to give him an advice.

Next time make sure you read twice before you post something!
 
Sounds like you are just starting out, keep working at it and making your site better, find out what works and what dose not.
