Well I started off my eventual blog farm with an autoblog in the health area (weight loss, acai). I was approved to a CPA that offers a couple trials with good payouts.
6 days ago I launched, have up 21 articles now including some videos from CC.
I used NikHilG's great autoblog plugins post to get me started.
I update 1-2x per day. 1-3 posts each time. I ping the site only 1x per day from pingler
I went and used fast blog finder to grab some ******** blogs in my niche. Posted about 20 comments, then I used comment kahuna and did about another 30, mixed do/no follow (a link is a link, many people say). I did searches for CommentLuv, KeywordLuv and other variations to bring more ******** result ratios.
In my comments, I used something like. "Wow, I've been searching the internet for some information like this for a new site I'm starting next week. Do you mind if I post it on my site with a link back here? Feel free to email me to let me know! Thanks"
Although slightly obvious, it's longer then most spam, I avoided leaving a link in the actual comment text, and just used the Name field for anchor text. I've recieved multiple emails confirming I could use the material for my new site. In the meantime they normally check out my current blog themselves. (A visitor is a visitor, right?)
As of right now the site is FINALLY getting indexed by G (only 4 pages) and I don't rank yet for the keyword I chose. Yahoo has about the same amount of pages, I figure I'll start pulling ranking when the other pages get indexed.
I get about 70 spider hits per day, 40 Visitors, 65 Page views, and 5 feeds. Currently I think many of the "visitors" are just spiders being counted wrong (but I could be mistaken).
I have no adsense on the page yet, simply waiting to be indexed and see traffic near 100/day.
I promote a free trial CPA with $30-$35/payout exactly matching the blog niche. I'll be happy with 1-2 sign-ups per month. Think that's a reasonable goal?
Today, I decided to give prstorm a try. Extracted 1000 of my own addresses. Did a 20% run @ 1 hit per url w/ 40 threads. (That's about 200)
I plan to use prstorm about 1x per week, per autoblog, hitting about 200 sites each time. I'm hoping to get 10-20 backlinks per week from this (think that's reasonable?)
Any other suggestions on giving it a healthy boost?
