What is the best free/premium SEO plugin now ? I am thinking about trying these: Seopressor, Yoast SEO, Easy WP SEO

I prefer Platinum SEO personally

I used an older version of SEOpressor and it is great for optimising your posts. The new version looks even better. I was going to share a copy but there's some encrypted code in one of the files and I'm suspicious that somebody has encoded a backdoor into the plugin so I won't share this version.

SEO plugins for WP is a myth.

IMHO, neither share nor use that plugin since google slaps sites using it.

Yoast SEO is the best.

"All in one Seo" always works just great for me

Really liking yoast after I set up the google author stuff. Slowly my picture is coming up when searching for my blog posts.I also like how it handles the meta input.

For my Wordpress sites I use Platinium SEO for the total on page SEO and SEOpressor for making my pages keyword optimzed.

I use Yoast, gives suggestions etc on how to improve too

I use Yoast and Easy WordPress SEO. But are good. If you are newbie you can use All in one. It is easy to use.

i use all in one seo and yoast "all in one seo" was working best for me but the last few weeks all my sites have dropped off cos of that bloody panda

Yaost is the best in my opinion. It does everything I use it for all of my WordPress sites.

Seopressor 5. The new update is awesome.

I'm using Yoast's 'WordPress SEO' for a long time on all my WP sites. It incorporates so many SEO features and tools into one simple plugin.

I highly recommend Yoast's SEO plugin.

Simple because they are not working. Google knows that WordPress is and it knows about its internal structure. You can "hide" some internal URL's (e.g. /tags/, /categories/ etc) and do other "optimizations" but it won't affect your SERP position. You're the only person who i know which thinks like that. I don't know, maybe you're right but i'll stay with All in One Seo Pack for now.

Use the combination of Yoast and AIO SEO
Yoast will help you with keywords and AIO will help you with indexing

This is actually true, and I have posted on other topics where WP is reviewed against other CMS. WP over usage has give enough footprint for Google to understand a WP within the first crawl. All plugins have a comment and act the same way, theme structure, every single aspect of WP can be reader by G's crawler. Even WP is been called a CMS, still WP call it a blogging platform and not a CMS.

Yes, is easy to have and optimized, but now days it takes twice as much effort to rank for good quality traffic. Yes, you can rank for long tail, or even trashy keywords, but is a long way for real $$$ keywords. Is the same as Senuke, is been so over used G's can see link schemes. But that is another topic.

If you really want to build a descent money site stay away from WP. Even with Joomla! witch I don't like I see results faster for real $$$ keywords. So gear up learn the ropes, avoid shortcuts, go ahead make real money.

My Vote, Yoast SEO or Easy SEO

All In One SEO - I use this and love it! By using this and a few back links on some web 2.0 sites I was able to get a new blog to the 3rd listed site on Google under my keyword in just a few days. I highly recommend AIO!

Not the only one. Matt Cutts told this a few years ago. BTW he doesn't use any SEO "optimizing" plugins on his own WP blog.

I use Yoast for all my blogs. Pretty happy with that.

Where you get that? I'm ranking fine for some competitive terms and 1 of my clients is ranking for a real competitive term and is using wordpress. Stop regurgitating what you hear. Just don't be an idiot and use a ton of plugins that slow your blog down, make sure it's optimized and you're good.
