Custom blogspot theme

Hi, I just downloaded a custom blogspot template in a .xml format, how do I apply this to my blog? I have read guides that say you are avaible to upload it from dashboard->edit html, but I can't find such a option from there. Cheers

i think the best way is to back to an old blogger dashboard. You can go to the old blogger dashboard by clicking the gear button on the right of your dashboard , then choose to switch it to the old blogger dashboard.

Then you're available to upload by Edit HTML option like you said.

Thanks for your reply, but after tons of more "googlings" I found an solution Just that all these custom templates contain so much shitty ads

Please follow some step
Singup with valid id and password
Google update blogger dashboard theme that's new ..don't worry click on setting link it's displaying right side.
Select old blogger dashboard then it's displaying old version for blogger admin section (own blogger admin section)
Click on design
Click Edit HTML
Before upload new theme please download old theme ...click to download full template.
After download , click browse option then click upload
After upload it's display keep widget option, delete option and cancel option
Click according to you and before save check preview, if its display fine site running that's fine save theme.
