I KNOW this was asked many times before, I read all the threads but I am still unable to decide which one is better for my website/blog.

I will start by summarizing what I understood from all the threads I read and you guys can add up to this information and/or correct me if I am mistaking.

All in one Seo:
It's the simplest one of them but it does not control 301 redirects by itself.

Head2Space:
It controls 301 direct by itself and has the same features as all in one.

Yoast:
It has more features than the above two but it's way too complicated for beginners.

So, which one would you guys choose?

Also, and this is a very important point, someone said that these plugins place backlinks in the wordpress's source code without asking for permission, I am not a coder myself so I need someone to confirm or deny this statement.

Thanks guys :)

I used the All in one, but when I discovered Yoast, I stick with it. It has more function and is easier imho.

Ez WP SEO... ;)

*eidt* I also use All In One SEO

Yoast. I tried quite a few others (and used Headspace2 and All In One SEO quite a bit in the past). I started using Yoast last month and no turning back. I found All In One SEO a bit over the top. It adds XML sitemaps functionality, but a bit limited compared to the dedicated plugin. Still, if you need something simple it's good.

Yoast. I also started using it a couple months ago and it has since replaced something like 8-9 different plugins for me.

(AIO SEO, SEO Pressor, Sitemaps, Breadcrumbs, WP Category Base, WP Tag Base and a couple of others. Yoast does ALL of these things, in many cases much better than the alternative.)

It is not very complicated either, if you want great on site SEO, then you need these settings in place. Simple as that.

SEO Statpress is my fav for stats :) I do not connect with analytics!

Apparently, everyone suggests Yoast, I will go for it then.
I have a question though if I use separate plugins for XML sitemaps, breadcrumbs, ..etc will they contradict with Yoast or it's OK to use both?

and yea when it comes to stats, I totally agree Statpress is the absolute best.

No, they will not mess with Yoast if you use 3rd party plugins. Just tell Yoast not to do those things.

If you are worried about any plugin inserting backlinks (which I have heard that many do) you can easily wipe that out by editing your robots.txt file in WP

Just do a no follow / disallow on your robots.txt so SE will not follow...

OR

Just go into your plugins folder editor and scan the code to see if you find any links. If you find any just delete.

IMO they are all great plugins so helping them with a link shouldnt hurt your site anyways....

1:seo Ultimate:
2:easywpseo
3:seopresser
Believe me guys use 1st 2 and judge the power

For back linking WPSB plugin awesome. for backlinking.

Using All in One SEO on my sites for now since i'm still a noob but the plugin seems to work perfectly fine

SEOPressor...if you're just starting out it will really help you maximize your KW in content and in H1-3. The others aren't quite as intuitive.
