Keyword used.

I'm using the keyword "photography" on my site, adwords shows it has low competition but GMS is 83,000,000 and LMS is 23,000,000.

is this a good keyword? any suggestions?

another keyword I used was "_____ photography" it has also low competition but the GMS is only 8,100 and LMS is 2,900

I rank number 2 on google on this keyword.

on the "photography" keyword I am out of site. haha

getting ranked on the first page for the term 'Photography" would be really difficult..

Just for future reference:

- the competition in the adwords tool is not the proper way to do a competitive analysis and has nothing to do with organic SERPs.

- Always do exact monthly searches over broad in the adwords tool - you could have 500000 broad searches and 0 exact.

Not trying to be rude, but I would recommend you learn SEO more before trying to target a keyword like this! It could potentially take you years to rank.

Always tick the exact box buddy.
Then make sure your keywords in adwords have either a medium or high competition (if you are using adsense... low is fine for affiliate products).
Then take that keyword and run it through semrush. Look at that competition for how hard it'll be.

Choosing a keyword like photography for ranking without doing your home work properly, is just like a baby trying to fight with a group of giants.
