Adding Google Author thingy to Wordpress

I've been trying to figure out how to add the Google Author feature to my Wordpress site. My site is using Thesis 1.8.2. I followed this (despite the writer does kind of touch only briefly on certain parts), and still no luck.

I'm close to pulling my hair out here. Has anybody gotten this feature working properly?
