Lol, I just wrote an article on my blog about how to rank really high with SEO ready articles and 5 minutes after publishing my post.. I'm ranked #1 on the subject.

I've had this happen to me twice... I wrote an article and by the time I was done editing the thing in wordpress it was on the first page.. no idea why some get to the first page in few minutes and other take day/weeks/months.

Yeah, I'm not sure why this happens. It doesn't happen with all of my articles of course, but yeah.. I also can't share the article with anyone who is not a top member here for reasons of people stealing content. Sorry guys.

Yeah sometimes if you're logged into Google it'll rank it really quickly just for you. What's the competition like for the keyword? Really easy or pretty hard? That can make the difference too.

That's interesting, don't be surprised if it slips a little over the next week. Since Google might just be ranking since it is brand new content, under the basis of 'latest'.

Thanks for the heads up, and yes that's what i'm worrying about. I could post a screen shot of my rank reporter, I would say nearly 95% of all my keywords in each article are in the top 10-15.

I don't know why the big G likes my site so much, but I can't complain. I just hope it sticks.

Once you're trusted it just keeps rollin' from there. Get a higher score with QDF and it'll stay there for a bit. The only thing you have to worry about is making a good enough "user impression" in the first week or so to stick there. Beyond that, you're set.

Just curious, are you using something like SEO Pressor to optimize your articles or just writing it the way you want to?
FWIW, I've moved away from the hyper-optimization model the last several months and started writing normally, throwing in anchor texts, h1's when and where I feel it is justified.

Its sounds good that your website get ranked fast.

I think it is a great think for me to view on it as it is a great way to make a post on how to rank articles on SEO in less then 5 minutes
