I'm trying to find out if I can first use a Nulled wordpress theme
and later on purchase it & make it legit without starting all over.

I used Thesis from BHW and then purchased it later. no noticeable differences. =/ but I do feel better about using the theme now

I've used a couple of nulled themes just to test things... then purchased them later.

There is nothing wrong with nulled theme, but if you think the developer has done a good job, DO SUPPORT THEM!

How did you install the purchased theme with out breaking the themes
post & all your work that's what I'm worried about having happen.

Download it from there site...and upload to your wp-content/themes/ directory... then activate.

I think I'm missing something here... what do you mean by "not breaking the themes"? If you upload and activate a new theme, it doesn't hard/break anything.
