Try to change adsense ads placements and where you get good ctr stick with them .

Make the site as so that it looks very standard and smart, make lots of backlinks and do social marketing, and as ur site is related to the gallery so image optimization can bring you thousands of traffics, which will not only boost up your rank but also will give you $$$

Do not use adsense on mature content.. Just a warning..

I would try changing the placement of your ads? maybe near the menu?

Your OPSEO (on page seo) is very weak.

Spend a little more time on your home page and the individual pages working on:
title tag
meta description
h1s

Also... the URL structure could be better.

Focus on ONE thing per page and make sure that thing is a keyword that is worth going after.
