My question....


How can I host two blogs on the same host without messing up SEO?

For example.. at the moment I have a wordpress blog currently in my root folder that I am actively using.

How could I add another blog to my webhosting? Give it its own subfolder?

Or should I move my current blog to it's own subfolder?

Lets say I took the blog I have now.. and instead of it being in the root folder I added it to /blogname

then I created a new blog and moved it to /blogname2

Would these two blogs conflict with each other as far as SEO goes? Would /blogname show any pages from blogname2 in google searches?

They will be basically a same domain.
Go or subdomain instead of sunfolders.

When i buy hosting i give a domain i do NOT plan to host there, then use "add on domain" in cpanel.
That puts all sites in sub folders of public_html.

You can still use add on domain, they will still go into sub folders, but its a bit more messy.

Addon domains are considered as different domains (on same IP), subfolders are just treated as single domain.

Create several blogs the way you create just one.
Outsource the blog creation part if you have some money.

The tough part is to manage several blogs at a time.
