Im still not decided conclusively about whether emds provide a significant benefit.

I've ranked both emd and non emd and havent seen a drastic difference in how quick an emd ranks.

Im still playing around with them, I might get another one in the next few days to try.

I'd recently bought one comparing it to my non emds on a site I add new kws daily. It seemed to rank to number 2/3 rather quickly but difficult to tell if it would have done that anyway as every kw is different.

So Im thinking I will have to do a few more to get an idea once I see patterns form.

I have not noticed a difference. I have stopped focusing on EMDs for a while now and I like to buy aged domains in the same niche. You can usually get some free content out of it. Although for local websites, especially with google places, I like to always have an EMD.

So how about for aged domains? do you notice a big difference ranking those vs new ones?

That is something I havent explored myself yet.

Aged + EMD = Dominate.

Yes, the only thing better than EMD is having an aged EMD. However, if it came down to aged + stop word vs. EMD, I'm taking EMD everytime - although difference may be neglible.

Of course aged plus emd but that is alot to ask for a regular working method.

I bought two more emd with varying comp yesterday so gonna see how it pans out.

i did a sort of test with EMD and other domain in different niche and i even rank well with the non EMD but i think it was kinda authority site
