My site is on top 5 Google now. Maybe i am lucky but i want to know "Why?". This is my story.

I build a site based on Wordpress at 3 days ago. It have 15 posts and have bad state last night. Google say "NO" and submit sitemap to Bing always "Pending". But this morning, my site is on top 5 Google with my exactly keyword. I am newbie and this is my first site. I think it is lucky but i want to know Why?

Below is exactly my working
- Install wordpress and add some popular plugins. Add google analytics, webmaster and submit site to Bing. But now my sitemaps on Bing still "Pending"
- Create some post with all content from Amazon, because i want to sell some amazon product
- Twitter, after publish a post i will twitt it
- Digg, as Twitter
- Google plus share
- I also have use free backlink tools to submit my site
- Last night, i create 2 lens on Squidoo to write about my site. This only a post on my site with link back.
- And today, my site is on top 5. I think it is my lucky and i want you to explain me Why?
I have screen shot but can't post because i am new member. You can search with "Kinect dance games" on Google and can see my site is on top 5.

First off,let me say congrats!!!! First page of the Big G for your first site is great!

Now as to the why, most of us can on guess as I don't think any here works for G. Also, we dont know what your site looks like or anything. I am not saying to give all that info here, but without knowing which site is yours, and your site dynamics, any info that we give you is purely speculation.

How competitive are the keywords? Being ranked #1 for a keyword that's searched once a month is completely different from being #1 for "Insurance".

How about your keyword? give the detail about volume search.

did you use serprush? or anything that can check your rankings?

Google identifies now the site you visited and then rank it much higher in your computer, but on other computer its nowhere..

How many visitors you recieved ?

Clean your cookies... flash included

Some information when search with Google
37000 results with "kinect dance games"
3490 results with inurl:"kinect dance games"
3790 results with intitle:"kinect dance games"

Now it is top 1 on Bing with keyword "kinect dance games"

I use Firefox and Chrome to post and SeoQuake to collect information. Now SeoQuake return my site have no Google index, no Bing index.

I also use Internet Explorer to check result.

Have 39 People visited with 23.08% from search, 2.56% referral, 43.59 direct and 30.77% campain.

Yeah it might be a a low competitive KWOr you've tweaked SEO to perfect frequency which google love. You've done a great job.Try to reap much as possible from it and invest it into your new site

Could you post the KW density and amount of articles you posted there.Interesting stuff

Google algorithm simply saw you relevant. This is why you ranked high so fast. Also, your keyword has low competition which helps a lot.

Even with low competition, congratulations on your success. This being your first site, you should be proud and get more motivation for the next one.

Also a note when doing KW research - Always use exact searches per month

Yes, I agree with many posts above. Using a tools is a better option to check the rankings, since I had a similar experience with one of my sites with around 6k searches got 6th 1st page google and I was shocked, but when I checked it was not there actually. Then started to work on it, not it placed 4th.

People usually use "" when search? Now my site on top Google with some keywords without "". And only have one keyword on top with "". I lost my time to take care it on 3 days ago. And have more question? The conversion from my site is too low. Have 32 visitor go to amazon site from my site. But have 2 order. Is is good?

2/32 = 6%, is that good? It depends on what you're selling. If you're selling $5 items that's a decent conversion rate but you're not making any 'real' money. If you're selling $2,000 treadmills then 6% is amazing.

Well you have a very low competition keyword that gets a 1300 exact monthly search. ( in googles keyword tool on the left you can choose between a broad match and an exact match. Exact match is what counts ).
You also have the exact match domain name. That helps big time.
I also checked out your site and its quite impressive. Its very simply laid out and is very clean and easy for users to find their information. Well done.

P.S: You can get a software free on this forum called Traffic Travis. It will tell you how competitive your keywords are.

P.S 2: Do a bit of backlinking and get your site to the number 1 spot and you will start to earn some good coin.

I also use Traffic Travis for this site. Thanks you so much. I am researching some ways to increase conversion. Now it is too low. My products have price under $50 that conversion is important?

You made a couple of mistakes which are common with us noobs, such as searching broad keywords etc. but you've done an awesome job! Now EXPAND or REPEAT!

I've posted some articles aren't in my niche coz my site is a micro niche site. Is it right? Should i remove them and build link for my site to increase conversion?

Log out from Google account and find your site with the keyword again...

Why i can't see that? I see the "kinect dance games" is #12 on Google, and #4 on Bing. Hic hic.

Glad to hear your success on your first site. It is very rewarding to have your work pay off.

Friendly advice though: Don't reveal your keywords you are ranking so well for, because people will jump on the keyword and you may lose your spot.. That is why people give broad descriptions of their niche and blur out their keyword in screenshots, etc, etc..

Are you using software to check your rank or manually searching in google for it ?

Also your keyword density for kinect dance games on your home page is 20%

I only manual search on google? Which tool you used to check ranking? How range of keyword density is good for homepage?

Well then i am sorry to be the one that dissapoints you

I use a software called serp attacks to check rank.

In regards to the keyword density the general consensus is that 20% is far too high. Search the forums for an on page seo guide theres lots of info on this subject.

The biggest mistake you have made so far is to reveal your niche because all these noobs and unregistered guests will be jumping in and trying to take top spot.

You are so right on this!
I did a similar mistake last year, I discovered a very good keyword, was ranking first and I was turning a profit with adsense.

Made the stupid mistake of bragging on digital point. I lost 7 spots in a couple of weeks. Sold the site out of pure anger.

It was big mistake. Now my site is out of top 10 coz have some new site from guru that kick my site :|

Big experience with the first site.

Please help to suggest me an idea, i am so confused, clicks are increasing but conversion still only low.

There goes a rookie mistake. I dont think you've being reading this forum enough. You've just blast you keywords to the world unnecessarily creating competition for yourself, no one does that. I hope your site last on google first page, some of the experienced guys in this forum are buying related domains right now and are coming for you, even the less experienced too. Let me know how is going in 2 weeks. Good luck, because now you are going to need that luck.

If you're relevant and with 880 comp, you'll be #1 very soon. No worries...Not an accident, not luck, just easy at that point...Congrats!

The Local Month Search of my keyword is 1600. I think coz i show my keyword here and many people also select it. My site don't have rank now :|
