Hello everyone! Today I bring you a list I compiled over time with a lot of ping sites to use inside Wordpress. Just go to your admin interface and put them in the Writing settings.

What is pinging?
Pinging is when a blog notifies a server that the content of the site has been updated. Every time you make a new post and publish it Wordpress will notify to all this servers that your content has been updated. So spiders can go to your site and crawl your content

Instructions:
Go to Settings->Writing-> "Update Services" under the administration screen of your WordPress Blog.

In some urls there is a "yoursite.com/sitemap.xml" change this to your url of your blog and your sitemap. Combine this list with unique content with a Twitter account attached to tweet every post, and you will sure get all your pages indexed quickly.

Another quick tip: Use a plugin like cbnet ping optimizer so your site doesn't ping every time you edit or schedule with a different time a post, this will help you that the sites dont ban you for excessive pinging.

Another quick thing: You can use "RSS Submit" to submit all your feeds, this will also help for indexing, combined with all this list, you will get indexed, even if you havent started your backlinking campaign. Of course having unique content will increase the % of that.

This is a natural process of syndication. Ping list are exactly the reason blogs (Wordpress) are so powerful because there ability to syndicate your content.

So no, it can only help no add a fresh ping list to your site.

using a list like this doesnt really change much. anyway those services distribute ping lists between each other so its just overkill. i dont think google indexes a page faster if it gets a ping from 30 services vs 1
