i just want to share how to make permalink at 000webhost. basically if you upload .htaccess file then got an error message.

STOR htaccess Response: 553-Can’t open that file: Permission denied. Response: 553-Can’t open that file: Permission denied Response: 553 Rename/move failure:

it's mean you must "inform" to the host .htaccess file is yours, lets fix it.

open cpanel
find Fix File Ownership - click
Fix File Permissions - click
go to the FTP
make new file or transfer new file : htaccess.txt do not .htaccess
the last ... rename htaccess.txt into .htaccess.

you're done.
