How to active plugin

I was upload the plugin in wordpress,when I active it get this message
"The plugin does not have a valid header."
how can I resolve this ?

sometimes that happens when i upload it thur wordpress, all i do then is unzip it and upload it thur my webhost, then it works

Unzip it.. Zip it again.. and try.. sometime these plugins have a different compression which is not compatible
