Micro niche website questions

So, in a couple of days i will start my MNS adventure and i want to ask you guys some questions.

Firstly, what wp themes do you use to have a high CTR?
Secondly, where do you put you google ads?What plugins do you use? What do you put on your sidebar(Recent posts...)?What pages do you create?

Hey FlavyB,

For the high CTR, I would just do a search on here, there are multiple posts about what people use, and all kinds of discussions around that topic.

As for plugins, here is a post I put up that discusses everything I use on my sites.

Nice plugins, thanks DebtFreeMe, but i couldnt find answers for the other questions, even wp theme with high ctr..

CTR has a lot to do with ad placement. Best advice I ever got was to think about it like a book (think about where your eyes go first). Also, look at other sites and take note where they place ads.

As far as a theme, I personally use all different themes for my MNS to make it look natural. One thing they all have in common is they are "slim", I never go with a full page width theme. I've found this helps focus the eyes on my ads.

Best way to learn is to test. I have implemented many methods suggested to me by many different people. Some worked, some didn't.

Also Socrates and Thesis are good themes.

OP is such a newbie that he is not aware of the most important factors. He is just diving in the ocean to drown.

Choosing a theme is the last question to be asked. You even do not know what to add on sidebars.

And some others even suggest using thesis/socrates/ctr themes. Are you crazy?

Google fcks MFA sites. Slow down a bit by using everything default at least for a month.

OP, read this excellent ebook (version1-2 are all OK) : Micro Niche Adsense Course. And don't do anything without understanding every word there.

Cheers for the advice about the micro niche adsense course book. Very helpful the way it goes through the steps and gives examples just what I need.
