It looks really great !
And the website is well designed, a positive point.

I'd be happy to test it.
The designer is on BHW... ?

Yeh, looks really great just come off their site, sites been designed really good makes you want to stay.

I am sure someone that has used this, sooner rather than later will let us know just how good and powerful it is.

Come on BHW someone must know something. ;)

It does look cool, but having published AutoBlogged for several years now, I can tell you that such a young product is probably not the best way to go.

There are many, many problems with different feeds and so many people with different needs and WordPress running on so many different platforms with so many different plugins that experience goes a long way. I'm sure the WP-Robot guys would tell you the same thing.

It certainly does look like a promising product but I'd give it some time to mature, especially since they aren't really offering features that AutoBlogged or WP-Robot don't already have.

But hey, I'm sure they have put tons of work into this and it does look promising so instead of asking about it, you should break down and buy a copy!

Hi autoblogged,

seeing as you seem to know your stuff on autoblogs, have you had any experiences with a product called wp*********? I saw it advertised the other day, and it sounds like it could be great, but I am worried about using an untested product on my blogs in case it causes me issues with my rankings?

Any advice you have would be appreciated.

Thanks

It seems OK... however, it's only $10 cheaper. Plus, it doesn't have an RSS Module, and its Article Module only scrapes from articlebase :(

You also have to read between the lines when these products advertise the modules they support. They are usually just pulling the RSS feeds so any autoblogging platform would work. For example you don't need something like a Twitter module, all you do is go to http://search.twitter.com/advanced, enter your search params, then on the next page copy the "Feed for this entry" link to use with your autoblogging tool.

To get Clickbank stuff go to http://www.hoprss.com/ and grab your keywords as an RSS feed. EBay provides an RSS feed link after you do a search, so does Flickr, YouTube, Yahoo News, etc.

As for the issue of experience I don't mean to rip on competitor products, but I just know that after three years we are still constantly fixing bugs, adjusting our parsing engine for different feeds, keeping up with WordPress changes, and making sure it is compatible with other plugins. The only other product that has been around long enough and kept updated enough that I would recommend (besides AutoBlogged of course!) is WP-Robot.

Many of the other products I have seen do have some cool features and great code, but like any software it takes time to work out the bugs.

Not sure what you are talking about.

Yes it looks really great....i'll to test it if this already avaiable in downloads area! :D

I am promoting this plugin affiliate $is $52 per sale Not bad .. but i am a bit not sure of his affilaite stats etc .. does not look very professional and stable , infact just checked today and the whole website is down. Did abit of promo for his last plugin ' wp answers " through sales junkie . got some good results.

this plugin looks nice ! i watched that little clip.. man that music is awesome :D

I gave that http://www.hoprss.com/ a try, it's adding ANOTHER clickbank hoplink, other than mine, even though I included mine.

Looks like a good plugin for newbies.

I've been debating about buying this, mainly because its unlimited site license and it includes all the modules. WP Robot all the modules are additional cost. It would be cool if it was able to create pages in addition to posts.

I bought this plugin today and thought I'd come back and give my initial thoughts. I bought it because with a 30% off coupon code it was reasonable for an unlimited site license.

First, what autoblogged mentioned is correct. The script barfs occasionally on the feeds. Linkshare I can't get to work, it keeps giving me an invalid token error even though I know the token is correct. ClickBank it occasionally barfs on but its running smooth now.

Configuration is pretty easy once you figure out the interface. It seems fairly lightweight, not crushing the server or anything, but I don't have it pulling articles. It has a few nice modules for things like music lyrics etc. which was a biggie that attracted me.

The configuration options are very simple. For instance, for posting frequency you can only specify a number and hours or days. There's no randomization, like post every 1-3 hours randomly.

The thing that is really causing a problem for me is that their affiliate link cloaking only works if you modify your permalink to only be the post name. I don't understand why this is. I really want cloaking, but I can't change my permalinks now on an established site with PR. I'm still trying to figure out a way around this. I need cloaking, or at the very least please encrypt the Clickbank links.

So, for $100 its ok. It needs more development / a little more thinking about some of the configuration and using it in the real world. It sucks that Linkshare isn't working. And the cloaking thing is just stupid and makes no sense to me why it has this limitation.
