Problems with my blog

I need mentoring, things are not working out for me. Can I get some help or tips, anything would be appricated. Ive been reading around, ive been pinging, networking, writing content, backlinking. Maybe my niche is just wrong.

It is not dead, loomis just forgot to add the ".com" behind.

I took a quick look at your blog, honestly there are two things that hit me immediately

1. You design will turn off anyone. No offence but it is not successful looking at all.

2. Dude how are you trying to sell? If you are trying to sell Napolean Hill's books, you are gonna hit a slump. Anyone out there will be able to get them for free. Try to think of something else to promote.

and nothing came out. I then did a search on google for your site, only two results. I did a search for your name "Allen Loomis" in google, nothing relating to your blog came out in the first three pages.

It may appear that your backlinking methods are not working at all. If you are writing content, have you been submiting to article directories? If you have, did you include a link to your blog in the author box?

Your niche may not be wrong, but maybe relook your content. Do a keyword search, to see what are the good keywords in your niche and pepper your posts with keywords inside.

Content is good, but if you are looking to make $$$$ it is not how good the content is for reading but how sellable (if there is such a word) you info is.

Honestly loomis not much different from your previous layout. At the same time, your blog is still not indexed at all.

I noticed that you are trying to sell "Think and Grow Rich", honestly you should be able to earn close to zilch for that as it is given out free in many places.

For your niche, you may want to look at "Science of Getting Rich" seminar affiliate program. Do a search on google. If you really can't find it PM me.

You could also do a search on clickbank for affiliate products in your niche to promote.

One of the other things you could promote is yourself. I am assuming that what you had put in the blog is true and the various books have made a change in you. So write an ebook based on your experience, write in a way that it teaches from your experience with regards to bringing a positive change in oneself. In the ebook, put affiliate links to certain ebooks to which have helped you (except think and grow rich, like i said no one is gonna pay for something which is already given out freely). Once you got the book out, take a few chapters and adjust it to be article like and submit them to the article directories, rmb to include the link to your blog in the author box.

There are other ways as well, all you gotta do is spend two days or so going thru this forum and read the areas you want to work on. This place is a goldmine, but only if you look deeper.

Oh I got one more easy way for you. I looked thru your blog and realised that you have quite a number of posts. Select all the posts that are 300 words or more, remove the affiliate links then submit them to the article directories. Once again, put the link of your blog in the author box. You have got at least 20 articles which you should be able to submit. That should get you quite a load of traffic. Then try to monetise the traffic that you will be getting.

Blog looks good. Not a bad niche. and your posts are pretty cool too. I think you need to apply some SEO to your posts. especially the title of each post.

I will submit my posts to a bunch of article directories, I was just worried if that would be considered copied content.I heard that search engines had a way to find copied content, and you could get a bad rank because of such. I guess I will ill informed.

I really like the idea of a e book, is there any program or certain way to go about doing this? Ill check out the Science of getting rich seminar program as well.

Should I start a Adwords campaign, or wait till I figure out things a tad more?

smokes4life offers you some good advice. One other thing I would do, is post some fake comments on your blog to get real visitors interested in commenting. It will give your blog a small sense of value. I agree though, that you shouldn't be trying to sell that book. It's way old and there is too much information out there on it already, but hey, what do I know?

I'd also submit to some blog directories and to technorati. That may help a little, but the big one is to submit to article directories like S4L said.

Generally I submit articles that I put both in my blog and article directories. However, if you really want to play it super safe, take your existing posts and reedit it slightly.

You may want to digg/twiter/stumble etc your posts.

There is really no fixed way of doing an ebook. Just type it in word or whatever, then PDF it. Go to clickbank, join as a publisher and sell it.

Adwords can burn a super big hole in your pants if you don't do it properly. So if you must use it, I suggest you read around the adwords section and ask around a bit first.
