i was on drupal.org looking at the lastest add ons and one of them is a module for a plug in named zemanta;

check out the demo, really cool.

I started using Zemanta on my WP blogs several weeks ago and I really like it.

I'm not using all of the features, but it's great for grabbing graphics to add into posts to spice up the visuals. And it does a good job of suggesting tags and options for content.

It does tend to slow down performance. I have to wait for my editor to load up for a longer time with Zemanta running, but given the extras it adds, the wait is generally worth it.

It's helped me to come up with some content ideas that I wouldn't have had otherwise.

Pretty cool plugin for WP.

How does this compare to the Caffeinated plugin for wordpress?

They are completely different.

Caff. Cont. actually pulls content from a variety of sources - article directory, Yahoo Answers, YouTube - and posts it on your blog.

Zemanta is an admin tool. The admin sees the info when the admin is writing a post or a page and can use the tool to add pics/graphics, pull up related content and post from other sources to site it (or scrape it), grab ideas for tags - that sort of thing.

Zemanta is not an auto content grabber the way Caff. Cont. is.

I use both - Caff Cont to grab posts when I'm not able to do my own content and Zemanta as a tool to enhance my content when I'm writing my own blog posts.

Hope that clarifies a bit. Zemanta is free so it's worth giving it a try to see if you like it.

Where can I get the Caff Cont plugin? (Havn't searched for it yet..:P)

Check the user download forum here. Caf. Cont. is in there. It may not be the most up-to-date version, but it's definitely a working version.

I think someone uploaded the more recent version for nulling so that one should be coming soon.
