I wish to make my blog an article directory, but I only have PR1.

Do you think it is still possible? How to go about it? I only want unique articles.

I don't mind to give out 2 backlinks to each submitted guest post.

If you want to create a web directory you should create a PHP scripted website. A blog may seem ideal for it but it isn't really. You could have some sort of reference blog like top 10 weekly sites or a site reviewing blog but I don't think you can have a full functional blog directory on a blog. You would need a PHP submission place and an actual list of the sites.

If you want to make your blog an article directory like ezinearticles, then there is a script in downloads section about turning your WP blog into article directory.

create a blog on WP>Import all data from ur site to that blog>redirect ur domain to this blog> now host ur WP blog with any php support hosting site and ur done u can use php scripts to make ur site as u want
