Default Can anyone recommend...

A good, domain registration site that will host for one year @ a competitive rate? Purchased a script I need a hosting account for and I was recommended to Ipowerweb which seems ok, works out 70$ for one 2 year domain, one year hosting.

Can anyone recommend or offer me something, or maybe PM me and I can sign up under your affiliate link for a % [50/50].

thx in advance

Try hostmonster it has a plan that allows for everything unlimited. You have to pay one year upfront but it works out to $5plus a month i think. MOst importantly, it is very stable!

I would recomend not buying the domain from you host!! Keep both accounts different, this will really help you in long run. Otherwise you may face problems when you decide to switch your host.

Domain: namecheap.com is best and for hosting hostgator A+++ excellent proce and excellent support!

hostmonster is pretty good. unlimiited domains, unlimited storage. I get my domains from ipower and just change my nameserver over. pretty cheap, i think they are like 7.75 now. I remember they use to be for 2.99 a few years ago. i missed those days

I also recommend using separate companies for your domain registration and your hosting. It is not fun all to have your domain names held hostage (or stolen!!!) if and when you decide to switch hosting companies (believe me it happens)...

I use lunarpages: unlimited bandwidth, unlimited space, unlimited add-on domains, 1 free domain name, cpanel, tons of plugins and very responsive support (I have had great results with them), etc., etc. and right now $4.95 a month if you pay a year in advance.

I use 1 & 1 for my domain names, $6.95 a year for each name, but they include FREE anonymous domain registration for every domain registered. This saves me a bit of change, and help in the long run.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Peace and Wealth,

Crow
