Hello all i made a blog at blogger a few days ago how long does it take for google to index. It has some adult content on it i pinged it and submitted it to multiple search engines.

Was there a need to create two different threads on this topic?

submitting to search engines does not get you indexed... fast. Try to build some links... on pages crawled by the search engines.

blanko I did not make 2 threads on purpose I hit submit and waited for the page to change it didn't so i refreshed and there was 2 threads also if you are going to make a post to complain at least complain about the topic or say hey dumb ass use the search or something thanks.

if digg says that url is not valid then it will not let you submit ever because this was the same case with my blog.
as for getting indexed bookmark it on various sites.use book*marking demon for it.it is available here somewhere.
also ping on as may sites as possible not just one.
check this forum out for some high pr backlinks.
also comment on other blogs in the same niche even if they are nofollow because sometimes google also counts nofollow links.also if it doesnt count it will atleast help the se spiders to reach your blog.

could it be that your blog was sanboxed? Anyway if you really have the time, get a list of blogs that have related content to your blog and start commenting and linking away. It should get you indexed pretty fast. At the same time.....there was this tip that I read somewhere.......link back to google. It seemed pretty weird but the explanation makes sense as linking back to google would get google's recognition. So anyway the tip said to link a fullstop of a word back to google and other search engines.
