Hi there,
was following Shez blog tutorial but can't get wordpress to post on Twitter. I get hung up on the whole Oauth and API thing. Couldn't find what I am looking for by searching. Can someone link me to a thread where I can get instructions how to set it up?

Thanks alot

I will try to explain it to you ;-)

I personaly tried alot of those twitterlink plugins and i like "just tweet that sh1t" the most, so far its easy to configure without all sort of ringing bells and nonsense. So first of all check that plugin out and replace the 1 in the name with i, content filter blocks that word :p

Then do these steps:

1. go to twitter*c_0_m > login ,
2. if your logged in go to dev*Twitter*c_0_m
3. click on "your apps"
4. create a new app or edit existing
5. Fill in a name of the app, this will appear below your tweet ("tweeted by <appname>")
6. In all url fields put in your website
7. Click create/finisch or whatever that button is called :p
8. If you created a new app the consumerkey, consumer secret and oauth are all displayed

Thats pretty much it,

Hope this helps ;-)

Hey guys does the Shez blog method still works today? I know that google doesn't love anymore autoblogs and don't really know for sure if I can start an autoblog or not...

Use Wordtwit, works great, is easy to setup and will be often update.
You find this plugin on the official wordpress website.

Yes it really does help, I have even bookmarked this thread.
