Ok, I run like 5 celebrities blog, some of them are dedicated to a unique celeb only, I first chose this industry because I think it can be highly profitable because of those TV shows ads and so, but it's very hard to compete with big entertaiment sites and major magazines and as wells as receiving million of visits as other bloggers do.

I've tried anything in 'white seo', But they don't really help at all, Not when you're in a extremely competitive industry.

My blogs are in Wordpress.

What can I do to boost them with visitors, rank high in search engines, attract advertisers, etc

When you have no chance getting decent rankings in Googles organic index, go for social traffic. You need some sites with fresh, slightly sexy or funny content. They even do not have to look too professional. Make yourself an active, authority stumbleupon profile (many friends, many votes, many discoveries). This may take some weeks, but it will pay out. Then review your site with that account. Many people vote anything up. I managed to get 180k visitors with a copypaste-meme (slighty adapted), which came on digg and reddit frontpage, which is forgotten a few weeks later. The rest of social bookmarks (digg, reddit, etc.) will come by itself via other stumbleupon users. When it did not work, make a review of another site. Good sideeffects: Will will get many links to that site, but many are nofollow-links. But I still see traffic coming through those links.

Important: Do not place ads on your site, which you want to show stumbleupon. When the first 50 or 100 good reviews by other stumbleusers are there, the heat is on, the rest of the stumble-community will follow. Now you have the critical numbers of good votes and reviews, the big traffic will come and you can monetize your site with some ads.

Btw: You need good nerves and an anonymous stumble-account. Some responses will be very harsh And it does not hurt to have a stumble-profile picture with a sexy lady, because many users are male. But do not be too obvious.

Believe me, It didn't work.I've tried stumbleupon before, for about 4 months, No return!

when there's a new scandal, you know the traffic goes hugely to major magazine,entertainment/gossip sites and naked pics aren't just what I want to do.

organise them as silo :
yourblog.com/category/post-name
where categories are the celebs and posts other keywords.
or use a plugin that makes categories into subdomains, that are celebs names.
optimise for google images: add names to pics: celebrity-name.jpg ; 1px-2px colored border and your logo to make the pics unique; add 'alt' tags; make thumbnail pics that points to the big pics so you can have even more unique images.
Add category descriptions. insert html in that descriptions ( there are one or two plugs for that ) interlink the blogs categories with anchor tags.

another thing i never tried is to insert some related feeds in category descriptions, but i think it would be great.

i would suggest try back link and link exchange so u will get on top.. i tried dis before and they seems work!

Maxieus, I have already had more than 100 link exchanges, I removed them all, First because they weren't giving me traffic (even the ones that received high level of traffic), and second none helped me to rank high in Google, Yahoo or MSN, after I removed, I didn't drop either, kept in the same positions for my major keywords.

well be creative. for starters, check out the section of youtube..............driving traffic is like marketing or advertising in the real world. The more you get viewers (regardless of what means) and the more crazy (in the case of videos on youtube) the more attention is gotten. Just think out of the box a bit more. Do note, link exchange is merely ONE method of generating traffic. In fact, in theory, it is possible to get tons of traffic without even ranking high with google or the other search engines. Similarly, ranking at the No. 1 spot will not automatically give you tons of revenue.
