How BIG should a WP Ping list be?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if bigger is better when it comes to loading a ping list into wordpress.

Of course I have avoided Ping sites which ping other sites like pingomatic and pingoat.

But I'm trying to ping the perfect amount, so what are your thoughts?

Oh yeah I'm making 100 blogs on the same server, so theres that too...

Well, maybe you should set up three groups of blogs, in group 1 put all ping sites you can find, in group 2 put just a few, and in group 3 put a medium amount. Then see what the results are after various periods of time. I'm sure you'll soon discover which one is just right.

It might seem like a fairy tale solution but I got the idea from you.

I would break them down by groups too..Make sure they're all alive too.. heh

I use this list exclusively:

It's short and sweet- pingomatic plus a few others that pingomatic doesn't cover. You CAN overping. Now, image heavy blog s can be different as there may be different places you want to ping for that.
