This is a good thread, but i strongly suggest to remove this one:

The reason for that is because I have often installed plugins and some plugins only work for particular versions of wordpress.

In other words a plugin might only work with version 2.8 of wordpress and then when automatcially upgraded to say 2.9 the plugin is broken and wont work due to being in compatible. Then you have the fun job of finding a compatible version (rare), or else restore from a backup.

Which is another good reason to backup before upgrading anything.

this is a cool list on wp plugins, some are new for me, will give it a try, thank you.

Also, use wp super cache instead of wp cache plugin.

1. share address, it pulls other realted post from other blogs and puts them at the end of of the post. Also takes your post and shares then on other blogs. Great for back links and seo.
I just a week ago her are my stats:
Index Summary Total 268 Posts Links have been Indexed. Links Summary Your Links have been viewed 271949 times.(This data is include all client and all time views. Like:Search Engine, same IP client, spider... )
not bad for week.

The 2nd plug in a cool tool.
RSS Poster is out of this world!

It pull feeds from other sites and post them to your blog. Not as just feeds but post!
Take a look at my site insured411 and click on updated news.
and you will understand why you have to have this plug in.
