thanks a lot oxonbeef for your kind suggestions. Should I make the blog for mobile surfers or make normal blog with mobile plugin so that the blog can be automatically fitted in mobile screen? What should be my strategy? should i rely on adsense? Do users surf from desktop in mobile related blogs?

Now this is a tricky question. I've been creating mobile sites since the end of last year. The sites I create are for local businesses in the majority however I
do think there is a big gap for mobile blogging. Just look how many people post
to facebook or twitter via mobile devices. I don't really think that adsence is a viable option with mobile, people who use mobile web don't search randomly they look for specifics. Geo targeted ads would be a mobile marketers dream
if there were enough advertisers but sadly there aren't at the moment.
What I would consider doing is creating a blog relative to a highly populated
tourist area, tourists don't carry laptops or pcs they have mobile phones.
"Google mobile local search" is ripe for raping, no one optimises for it. If you
were to rank No1 on google mobile local search for that area you could then sell ad space and links to businesses all through that area. I would approach businesses telling them "look I have X amount of traffic coming to my site a day and many of them would be interested in your business, if you had a mobile optimised site I could direct them to you though my site".
I would then sell them a .mobi site and SEO services so they could rank on google mobile local search in their own right. Not many restaurants or tourist reliant businesses will turn you down.
What I would also do is make a normal blog with an .htaccess redirect for mobile browsers to my mobile blog I would set it so when I post to my normal blog it posts automatically to my mobile blog. I would have adsense on my normal blog people like to
look at somewhere before they visit so you might make a few pennies there but I personally would look for the big bucks dominating that area on google mobile local search.

The key to this is taking action.
