Is there a plugin or away to make a wordpress blog a members only site? maybe even a paid site?

abansb... i don't know... but google is your friend. check out amember, alot of membership sites that have wordpress behind the curtain use it.

i think it costs money w3.amember.c0m/

I forgot the url but you can find it in wp plugin page.. wp-paypal plugin name.. you only can run in version 2.51.. in 2.6 still in progress..

Thank you guys What I am trying to do is make a paid site with my wordpress blog not for sure if any of these will help I downloaded members-only plugin but blackberet I tried to find the WP member sites but not going to buy it I checked there robots.txt there is a downloads folder but it is not there

I could be wrong but I thought you could set wordpress to only show certain posts/pages/catagories to registered users. Couldn't you do manual registration? They pay by paypal, you make the user in the wp-admin panel, and then email them the confirmation manually. Pain in the ass, but it would work I guess. That is, of course, assuming wordpress allows you to content-lock posts for non members.

I tried member fire but I can not get it installed anyone use this and had success installing it
