Hey guys,

I just wanted to announce and brief over the newest update of IndexSpy.

Added

  • Removed dependency on Google XML Sitemap Plugin. Now pulls sitemap directly for WP database.
  • Added ability to delete selected posts.
  • Added ability to export a copy/pastable list of items selected
  • Removed dependency on CURL being enabled on server.

IndexSpy creates a table of all your blog's posts and pages, letting you know what content has been successfully indexed on Google and what content hasn't.

IndexSpy also provides tools for creating RSS feeds out of un-indexed items as well as exporting selected items as a copy/pastable list ( for your indexing campaigns). Furthermore you can select and delete old un-indexed posts on the fly so as to focus ranking power into your indexed pages.

If you find this plugin useful please go to : http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/indexspy/ and give the plugin a good rating.
That would help me allot. :)

This seems like a pretty clever plugin idea. Have you considered implementing pinging functionality?

I have but there are so many routes to go. Say I like personally ping.fm, but we could go generic ping services... how much would it help. Does pinging index-stubborn posts 60%+ lead to the content becoming indexed?

Hey... friends, can you guys please do me a favor and take a moment to vote up the stars at the wordpress.org website for this plugin. I got some neg vots (2 to be exact, 3 total including my own) right when I released.

Let me know if you do it and I'll rep & thank you!

this plugin is very cool,

and I suggest a function to select the all deindex url or all index url on one button. make it easy

thank you

Nice idea for a plugin...except it doesn't work. I've tried installing it on 2 sites and it seems to install fine but it never shows any pages.

If you have a ton of pages it could take a while to load, it has to run a query on each item. So say you have 1000+ pages it could take 5 min+ to load.

If thats not the case then it might be a different unforeseen issue. Maybe browser related, maybe wordpress. What browser are you using,,, version of wordpress? Does it show 'loading' when you open the plugin up?

Thats what happened on one of my blogs, I thought it wasn't working but went back 10 mins later and it had produced a long list, I was surprised to see just what hadnt been indexed!.

great plugin thank you.

It works perfectly and I will integrate it as a standard plugin for my autoblog domains! Besides from the index check, it would be nice to have a ranking check module, which searches for the posts headline and reports the position.

I installed this plugin on one of my blogs and it works well. I'm going to add it to the rest tonight. Starred it. Thanks for this :D

I dont believe this plugin works with latest version of WordPress..
I dont see anything apart from loading..

I've abandoned it in favor for this plugin:
http://www.hatnohat.com/members/autoblog-maintenance-tool/

Which prunes old post automatically based on index status and post age. It also provides the ability for republishing posts that meet the criteria and checking PR and Index Status within the posts administration area.

This plugin hasn't been updated in over 2 years. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.
