Waht is the use of Feedburner plugin

The feedburner plugin (feesmith I believe is the name) will not improve your content per say. It simply makes your blog readable by whatever RSS reader the subscriber uses when they sign up. Basically it gives you the option for them to subscribe to your blog feed using various RSS readers.

If you submit your feed burner feed to the RSS directories you will get much more traffic there are many ways to improve traffic but this is a biggie. You should get more information on RSS as this is a big part of blogging. Do a search here and you should find some good stuff.

If you have burned your feed, your blog would have two feeds at two different address. Eg, hxxp://www.yourblog.com/feed and hxxp://feeds.feedburner.com/yourblog. Therefore, the subscription number of your original feed would not be counted in your Feedburner account. The plugin can be used to redirect the original feed subscription to your Feedburner feed and thus get counted.

So you think submitting the feedburner feed brings more traffic than just submitting your own feed?

i like feedburner, mainly for the pinging service they have. they ping a bunch of different places (including PingOMatic which in turn pings 13 other services.) so on an update day you can really get your blog out there. the feedburner feed does seem to be popular with the RSS directories.
