how i can Manage Multiple Wordpress Blogs?

i have more than 10 blogs and differnt domains a

how i can control them ?

is ther any software or script ...i will pay no problems with me

because i see many people her have mor the 50 blogs

What part of it do you want to manage?

It's much better to manage all of them 1 by 1 instead of having plugins or other software doing it for you. You risk of having issues and running into more issues trying to manage all of them at the same time.

Anyone using WPMU for multiple WP management? Am currently considering.

To answer the question - I currently run 50+ WP blogs, all separately.

To save time, I can recommend

- Batching tasks so that you can make multiple changes at once
- Opening multiple windows
- Only making changes every 3-4 weeks

Keeps the time down to a more manageable level.

If WPMU doesn't work for me, may try with imacros to speed up some of the changes.

I don't recommend any plugins or other ways to manage - a bit too buggy for my liking...

Use an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer then. I have tested quite a few like Qumana and nothing beats WLW. It's probably already on your computer if you have XP.

Add all your blogs to it, and you can post new Posts & Pages, and check all your sites in one place. You can even 'preview' how the blog post will look exactly on your site. It's so awesome I don't even know where to begin with it. I regret not using it earlier.

There are also cool plugins like xpollinate so you can cross-post to all your other blogs (full or excerpt).


This is useful once you have setup all your wordpress blogs (including themes, plugins, and other settings). Then just manage posts using WLW


The *OTHER* option is, using this Wordpress plugin:

The main PRO's is that you can moderate comments whereas with an offline editor you can't. Note that it does not work with all blogs (based on my own testing). You will need to have XML-RPC enabled in your WP settings. I don't really like this solution, since I prefer to manage offline. But you can always give that a shot.

Yes, WPMU is quite a delight.
I like how you can install the theme and necessary plugins only once as admin, and then just spawn more and more blogs only configuring necessary plugin options.

I can't imagine you did that manually for your 50 blogs.

Once your WP installed, you can use RSSEater Advanced version. It's a sandalone script (not a WP plugin) designed for massive autoblogging. The owner loads all his blogs configuration (http, ftp, sql) and add several RSS feeds urls. Then, the script will read the feeds, translate them and post them on the specified blogs. It's very useful for blogfarming and autoblogging. You won't need to code 1 line except if you want to scrape full text from articles, and, if you don't know a how to code, you can buy the desired modules if needed. And it's quite cheap, about $65 (without scraper modules, ~$120 for the script and scrapers modules for 10 websites)

I bought Wpdesktop, and it's worth the $30.
Right now it's going through my 90+ blogs, installing plugins, activating them, installing themes, activating them, and it can do it all day long.
It also has functionality to post to any of your blogs, setup tons of blogs, with all default options like permalinks, title, categories, etc. with one interface. It saved me a TON of time.

Is there something that does the same for joomla?

there is wpmanagerdx, i tried a cracked version and it was too tedious to set up for me. Maybe if you use the real version you would have a better experience.
