OK so I have a blog that uses WP-O-Matic to scrape RSS feeds and post the content of the feeds.
I just got word from Domains by proxy that they released my personal contact information to somebody who apparently demonstrated ownership. Here's the email I got:

We have received a legal complaint regarding your domain (domain removed) Since we were provided with proof the complainant owns the trademark or copyright, we have disclosed your identity for the limited purpose of this complaint so that the complainant can communicate directly with you to seek resolution per Section 4 of the Domains Name Proxy Agreement. We have not canceled your service nor disclosed your identity to any additional Parties. Please direct any questions regarding this complaint to the complainant listed below:

So I emailed this dude yesterday with no response. I called just a minute ago and left a message on the answering machine.
I think there is no legal base. If you syndicate your content, you want it to be copied and transmitted all over - that's how television syndication works. So why the hell are they trying to scare me?
