Hi fellows, i see evrybody here is an expert, except for me !!. Can someone tell me how to ping a blog and the details...i'd appreciate it..

Love the babyblackhat 'handle' but what happens when you do become an expert? You can't stay a baby forever.

I would stay away from pingoat as the old owner at least where going through the ping list and was reporting pages that he thought where spam.

No to pinging.

Your page need to have an RSS or Atom feed for pinging to be effective.

If your page has this, then you should ping the page about each 12 hours, at least thats what I do.

Don't ping each time you update as the services will ignore you if you ping to much.

Use Joseph Tierney's excellent Blogpinger Pro to ping your sites.

Blogpinger pro is a free software I believe.

go here and access theres huge pinglist to use for pinging.

Ping all those services with your page adress.

I ping in a different way. And it still works fine for me:

Instead of pinging my own site I forward my domain to web directories (those directories, where your added url shows up instantly without a mod review) or make blogs and put my links on it. Than I'm pinging the directories (the category site, where my url is showed) or blogs. Also possible with sb sites

I use hxxp://w3.ping*ates.com

I set up a Blogger blog. Run a program/website I made to map my sitemap into links. Paste the links on the post. Ping the blogger blog.

Works ok ... Around 90% of my pages are indexed.

Thats something i've thought about too...but even if i does become a pro, i'd still like to be an innocent "baby"blackhat.

As my name itself suggests, im still a baby, hardly a webmaster or anything of that sort. I can't concentrate enough on a specific corner of the BHworld. I keep shifting between the ideas and actually get nowhere doing that..maybe that's why im still a baby. I know search engines prefer blogs over the websites because of their dynamic nature. That's why i shifted my focus to bulding blogs( have'nt really built any real blogs until now, still wondering how to).
If my fellow friends can teach me how to create a money earning blog and the about the ways of monetizing it..that'd be of extreme help....thnxx for all who those who has contributed their bit to my concern....

Sorry but your dead wrong, you can ping individual pages to no need for a RSS feed to be effective , i do it all the time for my SEC sites and get my pages indexed pretty fast.

I use all-day-sucker from keyw0rd*candy*com witch comes with proxy support, it basically suck in all your pages from the sitemap and ping them to your list.

And i use crappy*t00ls.com for a up to date ping list, i see the googlebot within a minute after pinging in my logs so that tells me that pinging doesnt need a RSS.

there are money pinging services available, damn, i m not able to remember the one that i used, will post agaiin when i remember the name
