Did any one join or become a JV partner for the Bookmark Generation site ($47 per month) and is it any good?
The video wasn't to bad and some of his other stuff isn't either compared with a lot of the guru stuff out there. He worked quite a bit with Keith Baxter who produced cloaking master and runs Modern Click one of the cpa networks.
Just wondered how this compared with BMD and one or two other apps out there?

Re: Bookmark Generation
I haven't seen any videos showing actually HOW it works but if it's as automagic as he says it is, it looks pretty good. As far as comparing it to the others out there, at least from the sales page his biggest advantage is that it creates the accounts for you. I don't know if you have to enter captchas or not b/c he didn't show that. If not, that's a big plus.
With Auto Social Poster, it is set it and forget it but you have to create a bunch of accounts to load up initially so you're not killing a couple accounts. The same for BD but it seems like the creation process is at least semi-automated where you just enter captchas. Even if this product truly creates the accounts automatically, I guess you'd have to determine how many you actually need. You can outsource account creation and get 1,000 accounts for $100. If that's all you need, buy BD, pay the $100 to outsource and you've got a tool with 1,000 accounts for $200. That would only cover 3 months with bookmark generation after the initial fee and subsequent monthly's and you'd leave it all behind if you didn't pay next month.
Personally, I'd rather spend the $50/month paying someone to create new accounts for me that I can use on a product I own. If I don't have the $50 that month to add more (or I just don't need more), I still own and can use what I've built in the past. Anyway, my $.02

Mind sharing where you outsource? I have a similar project being worked but for more $$ than that. Granted, I was kind of picky about user names, etc.
Please PM me if you don't want to list it here.

Re: Bookmark Generation
Not sure how, but I stumbled upon Bookmark Generation a couple of weeks ago. The account creation portion was very impressive. Very fast, and the only thing you have to deal with are the captchas. All other emails (like confirmation emails, etc.) are handled on their servers. This thing works very, very well.
However, when I tried their bookmark posting, I could not get it to work. Also didn't get much support. They did communicated with me, but never really helped me (just a, we'll get back to you, etc.).
However, as good as the Bookmark Generation worked, I am sure they will get the posting part of it working smoothly as well. But, in the meantime, I cancelled my membership and requested a refund, which they have promptly said they would grant me (haven't received it yet, though).

Re: Bookmark Generation
it's damn expensive. i think it depends on what you need. sign up to 20 social bookmarking is not a big deal though. at least it is not that expensive if you hire someone just to sign up to such sites...

Re: Bookmark Generation
I subscribed to this as well. Like TheNinja said, the account generation is very quick, the capcha thing can be a bit slow, but is perfectly acceptable for what the package can do....Except it can't. You load it up, create a project, tell it where to post to (which accounts) and tell it to post. The first time I used it, it started posting and got to 5 so I left it running overnight. Next morning it had actually managed to post...7. Every time I've tried it since, it's posted 1 or 2. The only time I've managed to get more out is to sit and manually click the post thingy, but then it wouldn't let me get past 21. It's making me bloody crazy. The tech support is pretty useless, it's a guy called Dom who answers questions with questions.
If this worked like it should, it would be brilliant and probably worth the $97 and $47 per month. As it is, I've paid $97 for something that's already wasted 3 days of my life. I'm gonna give it a couple of weeks for them to get their act together and then get myself a refund. Watch this space..

Re: Bookmark Generation
I don't own it, so maybe I missed something, but I've seen the demo for Bookmarking Demon and the "just enter the captcha to create new accounts" process and it sounds the same as Bookmark Generation. If it is, and it actually works, what's the extra $47 a month for?

Re: Bookmark Generation
I personally am waiting for the new bookmarking demon 4 that is due out sometime this month. Im sure Edwin knows our needs and has seen what has been developed with the competition so he will meet them with the new upgraded version.

I actually emailed him a couple weeks ago with a couple questions I had and he responded right back. My biggest concern with BD was with the lack of "randomization" i.e. posting randomly to different accounts like Auto Social Poster does. He said that this feature and a few other big ones were in the next release in August. I may just go ahead and get this version and get the free upgrade b/c with my luck the new one will cost more.

Re: Bookmark Generation
I've just had a look at Bookmarking Demon and how I wish I'd known about that before I got involved in BG, it looks a hell of a lot easier and probably does something that BG doesn't, ie. it works.
Bob, I think this Howie guy who runs BG has set it up so that runs from his servers and you have to pay a monthly fee. Ain't happening from me though...

Re: Bookmark Generation
Yeah, you gotta pay a monthly fee. I thought it was $37.

Re: Bookmark Generation
Well, I got in touch after struggling with this for 3 weeks + and asked for a refund, which I received 2 days later. To be honest, I think they just got sick of me hassling them for answers as to why it doesn't work! I'm off to spend the money on BD, see if that does the job for me.
