How important are "tags" in Wordpress

Hi,

Im using Platinum SEO for keywords etc on my wordpress site but Im wondering how important it is to include "tags" in Post Tags on the edit page.

Any help would be appreciated

They appear in your meta tags as keywords.

1.go to google keyword
2. search for nich keyword set to exact
3. extract to txt
4. open it with notepad and replace [ with ,
5. replace ] with empty
6.copy the words to your post tags and add

its good for seo, just make sure you make them nofollow in platinum seo plugin
