Default what VPS hosting for autoblogs?

    Good evening everybody.
Yesterday my account was suspended for overusage of lun@rpages shared account resources.
I have an autoblog and they said i was using 2.7% of their processor resources, which pissed me off .

I would like to find a hoster with affordable VPS that would be autoblogs friendly. WOuld love to stay within 10-15$/month if possible.
Please anyone share your knowledge .

I haven't upgraded to VPS yet (although I probably will soon), but I'm currently using HostGator. I've had it recommended by others, and, what I've experienced with them, so far, has been great. I think it's way out of your price range, though. Not sure if you'll find something at 10-15 a month.

Linode (link has referal tag) is actually the best value VPS you can get, although it is above your budget. I have had zero problems, and great performance for the last year.

Good guide here testing VPS performance. Remember, you get what you pay for.

may i also request your inputs or suggestions on the minimum specs (ie., memory, storage, etc) of the vps we should look into, and how much data/autoblogs they can efficiently handle. for instance, if i plan to put up 50 or 100 autoblogs, what's the recommended vps hosting plan and the memory/storage capacity specifications? is it wise to get the most expensive (highest specs) hosting plan (eg. $50/mo) of 1 provider and host ALL the 50-100 autoblogs there, or better to divide the project into several portions and be hosted by different providers (like i will get the minimum plan ($15/mo) of 5 separate providers to host 10-20 blog each).

secondly, is there a big difference on managing your server in shared(?) servers vs dedicated vps? based on my experience, regular hosting give access to the backend cpanel and you manage everything from there or via ftp.. is it the same with vps or a whole new process that we newbies need to study and prepare for (i've been seeing "linux" in some descriptions/specs and i have no knowledge of that system). im afraid i might put the whole thing to waste if i cant learn (or dont want to) the linux and if that's the case, i'd rather stick to the regular shared servers i've grown accustomed to.

i'm sorry im not very familiar with vps and how it works and your tips can help a lot.
