I use hostmonster and pacific host and have always been happy with both. But Gundam gves best advice to go with a reseller if you can. Different IP's and different cpanels.
But wont be different c-class ips. Gundam why is different ips good if on same c-class?

I have been using hostmonster for over a year with no problems. I do not have a lot of autoblogs, but I have not heard of anyone having problems with them so far.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
As I am sure with allot of other people here, you are welcome to pm me for recommendations. I'll hook you up with an affiliate link and even give you coupons offered to BlogSense userbase due to partnership deal. Sadly hostmonster would not give me discount : ( , but PacificHost has because they are young and upcoming, and they know about my software and support it.
Prices are about the same, and with domain coupon domains are cheaper. 9.75 per domain. Personal coupon is 25% off first billing cycle, but their costs are low as is.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
If you just want to make 1 until 20 auto blog i recommended you use hostgator.
i have just tes with many shared hosting to host 100 auto blog and will get banned. i have to test in
-lunarpages (i have 1 blog with 10.000 traffic perday and get banned) ,
-justhost (i test 20 auto blog and get banned,
-hostgator (25 cron in same time and 250.000 inodes) ,
-hostmonster (only allow 50.000 files)
fyi every auto blog posting 100 - 500 perday.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
But Kaene, Dreamhost trottles down the fetching from your server for your UCF. My Bluehost doesn't limit my pull from your server.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Would the reseller account on hostgator allow me to have different class c ip adresses for groups of blogs (say for each 5)? I've looked around for the answer but can't seem to find it. I currently have ten autoblogs on a baby plan and probably will just get another baby but I am considering the reseller. If I can get multiple IP addresses then I'm gonna go for the reseller.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
for the reseller plan, we get 2 IP and it could be work with your domain, try to split that 2 IP

I dont think so, I think all will be same c class because all are on same server at same local, but send them an email or chat with them and report back!

anyone use bluehost? Do they care about autoblogs and is there a limit?

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
I think you need to ask a question about resources . If you get VPS then you can host dozens of autoblogs but then agan, how big are those autoblogs...
I posted in other thread and i will repit myself here a little... My autoblog hit 7500 posts and shared hoster started bitching about using too many resuorces.....so i am now forced to look in to VPS...bam...400$/year
AS far as content i dnt htink they would mind as long as your account do not over load their server...

Looking into level one vps with ip adress addons like someone mentioned earlier. Not sure its enough speed/bandwidth though. How would one check the bandwidth we are using currently?

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Guys,i'm also up to this issue.I'm looking a good host and i'm between Hostgator and Justhost.
In first place i'll not add to many autoblogs (about 5 at most 10).
I also don't think (like also other people saying) that is up to number of blogs that will suspend you but about how much you overload their server and for what reason. They are not stupid we living in 2010 they can see who has what...
I'm waiting your advice guys.
a lost newbie :P

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
I'm more concerned about being banned by google, but if I have the same adsense account across all autoblogs does it matter if I have different class c ip's/different hosting accounts?

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
looks like vps level one and two don't have cpanel

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
What a GREAT OP - ask a question about which web hosting is the best then post your affiliate link for each one !!!
All you've done is waste everyones time who actually replied to you.
Did you not see the sign above the door about affiliate links are not welcome in posts.

<- that's a wave goodbye by the way

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
well I have some blogs with over 12k post. so hostmonster, blue host, and justhost all have unlimited everything offered for about 7.00 a month.
Just can't decide if this will work for creating 100 autoblogs are not.
benny b did you mean that bluehost was giving you a hard time.
I don't want to go thru another move. Also is there a way to take the one big database with all 26 blogs and pull the tables and make seperate db's?
If I do that and maybe use wp super cache would that take the load of the servers?
Thanks

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
I'm with beelzebot also!We can continue the conversation cause i'm up for this even if the guy in the first place thought like a smart ass..I didn't even press the links he posted in the first place,i know the companies. But i don't know in witch to make an account.
The issue about Google adsense accounts beelzebot said is a question by me also.Anyone more experience than me if can give any help i would be grateful!

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
I have been reading some post about server load issues at a forum for web hosting.
I am still trying to get my databases and files downloaded.
I found out that alot of my problem has to do with some of the plugins that I am using, and the amount of them that I was using.
I copied this info from that forum, and I hope that it can help anyone with this problem.
copied info------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the common problem I have seen from installing wordpress is the wp-cron.php, this file is called every time someone visits your site. So if you have near around 100 wordpress blogs and if I expect you get 20 visits a second only, it will will eventually overload the server by calling 20 different wp-cron.php files. There are some tricks I have found which helped optimizing my clients sites. You can stop your wordpress from spawning the cron everytime an user visit by editing cron.php file under wp-includes and run the cron using cronjobs once a day or so (Depending on your scheduling need). Trust me, it will help a lot to reduce the amount of cpu usage on a shared server. The latest wordpress seems to be calling wp-cron.php file more frequently even though, scheduling is merely rare case for most of the bloggers. It utilizes more CPU than previous version of wordpress as well.
wp-cron is just a script that is used to fire timed events like - a daily backup script would use it as an example from what I've been able to tell. Rename it to cron.php and add an actual cron to fire it daily or every few hours and then you still get the features without the extra load.

one important feature of my next hosting acct would be a company that just does'nt drop you, or suspend you without taking the time to try and figure out the problems.

Get a VPS and host your auto blogs there! Thats what i do!

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
takdim I would love some more details on that. Do you use hostgator's vps and what level. About how many blogs you got going on there. I know level one and 2 don't have cpanel, is it still easy to run autoblogs without the easy interface of cpanel? Your input is highly valued!

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Yea I would like to know more too. I just got all of my sites cut off. So I need to move. It sucks that WP is so demanding.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Which one is the best reseller hosting (AND CHEAP of course
) ? Any review about hostgator reseller account ?

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
A VPS is incredibly fast compared to shared hosting. You can see the difference when you're uploading files via FTP. Although a VPS costs more it can save you a headache further down the line and there are pretty much no restrictions on anything. Plus, as you load up with more and more autoblogs they will still load faster when your visitors are viewing.
With any VPS, cPanel and Plesk make it easier to manager and insist on Fantastico as that makes is easy to install your WP blog.
Shop around for VPS, the price does vary alot.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Yea guys great advices about the VPS but we (at least me!) are beginners and we can't affort yet such big "projects".Even if we had the needed money is too risky (stupid for me) for a beginner to buy VPS plans etc.
Does anybody knows to inform us what hosting companies to avoid cause we gonna get suspended with autoblogs, how (and if) Google Adsense will suspended with autoblogs, etc.
Ofcourse i saw few boys here is up to this but is not for beginners. Thanks

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Does anybody has some experience with HostNine? I'm looking into their cheapest reseller plan $25 / 25GB space / 250 GB bandwidth. The thing that attracts me on getting this plan is that you can create separate hosting accounts and choose where you want them to be located, and they have servers in 6 different data centers, which for gets 6 different IPs already.
Quote from their website
With servers located throughout the US, UK, and ASIA you have the ability to choose where you want each website hosted at the time of account creation.
What stops me is the low space and bandwidth on this plan and I really don't wanna pay more for a start.
Anyone can share their opinion, on average, how many autoblogs can be hosted on such a reseller plan?

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Hostgator will stand you well and their BABY plan is great value. I host a number of my autoblogs on that plan and have never had an issue.
As for autoblogs not being for beginners, I beg to differ with you that.
Read this thread and you'll see why

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
shezboy sorry man can i ask you what you think about hostgator for autoblogs? Is safe?I'm not planning (i think) to post more than 20 autoblogs in the early days cause i'm a beginner in this.
Thanks

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
Hi, HostGator is fine to use for the autoblogging method that I use as outlined in this thread
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...eo-series.html
Use their BABY plan for the unlimited everything. It's near impossible for me to tell you that you won't put too much of a strain on their resources as I don't know your blogs and how they're set up.
If you use the autoblogging method as mentioned in the above link to the other thread then you'll be fine though.

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
First thanks for the response.
I don't have yet autoblogs i'm just staring (i have blogger blogs "hand made"
i have download your "series" and i have watched the half before and i think i will use this method for starting,a friend gave me also WProbot so i will go with this.
I have some niches in my mind but also countless questions how i'll sell things for autoblogs with affiliates blah,blah..
i just want to ask if you know anything about Hostmonster? Cause Hostgator is kind expansive.they have one year plan at 9.90$/Mo when most of the companies their yearly plan is about 4.95$/Mo (Hostmonster also)
I hope i don't bother you.
thanks
P.S. this is one of my blogger blogs,i have totally changed a public theme. http://blocoon.blogspot.com/

Re: Best hosting for autoblog? Need pro advice here!
I'm sorry but as I've not used that company i cannot say if they are either as good as, better than or worse than Hostgator. All I can advise you is based on my own experience of autoblogging and hosting etc.
