Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
Yeah, i just want to know.
1) Is anyone doing this, and earning money with it?
2) Is it worth doing? Or do blogger remove your blog after awhile?
3) IF you're doing it, and earning money, how do you avoid duplicated content you get from your RSS feeds?
Any help is greatly appreciated.. Thanks

That site my friend is not an autoblog. It's the author/producer of TT that's posting there himself.

Blogger.com autoblogging? Seems interesting.. I found some guide in other forums but the forum is already gone now... It was effective though..

I haven't done it personally, but I read about it and it seems good. Why don't you try Marc and report back?

I've been reading a couple of threads about this. But the main problem seems to be that you cannot isn't UNIQUE content,
Why? Because you need a plugin to REwrite all your articles. Now, if someone could share a method to do this, that would be nice.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
Hi Marcdk.
I have been searching for months for a way to autoblog Blogger blogs without success. All the ones I have found rely on posting through Blogger email and require a ton of editing before posting in order to clean out useless links and to create rewritten content that will pass Google scrutiny. This method is NOT autoblogging.
I have also found a couple of solutions that require hosting a script off Blogger that supposedly feeds unique content to Blogger but it takes a "rocket scientist who play with real rockets" to figure out the instructions. Requests for help always fall on deaf ears! Either they don't understand it themselves or don't want to be bothered. I have even offered to pay for help in understanding the instructions. So far - no takers!
So...best of luck my friend. If you do find a workable (understandable) solution, please post it here and PM me!!!!

I've been 'autoblogging' on Blogspot for years now. After my
initial tests, I've never had a problem at all with getting my
posts to stick. In fact the system I use posts complete
articles. I'm not at liberty to divulge my methods, I've
posted here just to give you encouragement that
autoblogging on Blogger can be achieved.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
Fair comments above, I'll be more mindful in the future. I can't go into detail
about the system I use because it's all part of a proprietary system.
But, have you attempted to use Google Alerts, pasting them into a text editor to
remove links, sort the lines alphabetically, and then email them into your blogs?
Not completely automated I know, but that might be an option, and because it's more
organic, it might fly right under the radar and stick. The secret is to keep posts down
to no more than one post per day.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
There is a TON of stuff here in BHW to automate Blogger blogs but ALL require lots of editing which means this is NOT autoblogging.
Blogger is a pain in the *** when it comes to autoblogging. The email method, the RSS method through FeedMyInbox, and many more like these all fall short of accomplising the goal. That has been my experience and, as I said, I have been at this for months!
If someone really has a "proprietary" system they could make a small fortune selling it through Blogger groups.
If I ever figure this out myself you can bet I'll create a product and sell it so fast your head will spin and you'll be spitting green pea soup all over your keyboard!
I just (this hour) finished another Google search - "Blogger to Wordpress tutorials" - and got a bunch of posts that are virtually useless for newbies like me.
And so it goes - more of people who flaunt their prowess by not sharing what they know. I guess it makes them feel superior to we mere humans.
Excuse the rant. This is really aggravating for someone who is willing to share (for free) everything they know with anyone in need of that knowledge.

Hey KGP43...looking forward to trying it. I am hungry to solve my Blogger autoblog problem and will shout praises about you if you have finally found the solution.
Free is great, of course, but there are many bloggers who would pay for a system that delivers the holy grail of automated content for Blogger blogs.
PM me right away. I will give it a real test. Let's talk about creating a step-by-step tutorial that even the dumbest (like me) can follow. I'll even put it in a PDF for free with screenshots so you can give it away with your solution here on BHW.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
i setup an autoblog on blogger using the feedmyinbox method just becuase i was bored the other night, seems to work ok but having the free account will only grab articles once per day, also it puts adds for feedmyinbox at the end of each post and posts the email address it was sent to, so i can expect spam shortly
i should probably play with the blogger settings and see if i can tidy it up a bit

Putting in mind that google can delete your blog any time once marked per any freakin kid as spam then I would highly recommend staying away from blogspot for autoblogs and maybe you can use WPMU instead in case you want to save on domains.

However, this is actually not a bad idea to get started autoblogging - does not cost anything.

I had a look at your blog and it looks cool, I think it's the content which is getting you in trouble. I had a similar blogger autoblog which posted torrents for Movie downloads, it worked great I had it linked in with a Twitter account, the twitter followers loved it and then one day...Bam it was gone!
I even sold a couple of these blogs for $40 a piece
My other autoblogs have been mainly in the Internet Marketing Niche and one has been running without problems for about 3 years, the other blogs are less than a year old, have scraped RSS content but Big G has left them alone so far.
I'm working on some software which posts questions from Yahoo Answers to a blogger blog. First it searches Yahoo Answers for your keywords, It then generates an RSS feed from the question, makes a uniquely named PHP file which you upload to your server and then can call by a cron job. It then posts one question to the blog. It works well, but I still need to do a little bit of work to it.
There is an autoblog script on here somewhere which will post to multiple blogger blogs, I used that for a while and grabbed full feeds from Blogspot.com , I searched for suitable content by typing site:blogspot.com "keyword" and that worked well, a few article directories also provide full RSS feeds too.
I love using blogger for autoblogging, I can't say it makes me a fortune with Google Adsense but it does drive traffic to my sales pages.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
If folks are suggesting 1 post per day on blogger, then just copy and paste someones article into a free re-writer and post it onto the blog once per day. It only takes about 3 minutes to do it. There is no need for automation unless you plan on having 100+ blogs with 1 post per day. You can do 20 blogs per day like this in only an hour. I know it's not automated, but who doesn't have an hour per day to post? At least until it can be automated.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
BigMack is right and you can also just use PLR articles and spin, copy, paste as well. Join a PLR article membership because most members won't rewrite the articles.
I am still looking for that Blogger blog magic solution that doesn't require editing of email posted content. I want true autoblogs that I can set and mostly forget for a while.

Let’s say I can work out some way to automatically post to blogger. you still need to spin the content, don’t you? if you tell me how to spin the content, I’ll start thinking about a method (even a C# program) to automatically post to blogger.

This can be done right in Blogger. Just cut and paste PLR, articles, whatever, and schedule for posting using Blogger's system. No need for software to do this. That's how I do it right now but it's still too much work as I am trying to manage 35 blogs. I use PLR and some newsletters I get via email for content. No RSS.

Thanks for offering a solution. We appreciate it but I tried this one too!
Carty's claim that you can automate 1,000's of blogs is not accurate, in fact, it's impossible with this software. The software pulls full posts from RSS but you still have to select each post. It is not automatic (autoblogging) it is semi-automatic.
Carty told me he prefers to do it this way so he can control the quality of the content. That's laudible but defeats the purpose of 100% autoblogging, at least for Blogger blogs.
This has been the "holy grail" that has eluded we Blogger users who want to autoblog - and - still eludes us.
Don't get me wrong. I would love to dump Blogger and switch to WP but I have built 35 Blogger blogs that generate some Adsense income and just HATE to abandon them. So, I keep hoping some coding whiz will develop a solution.
In the meantime I am not standing still. I continue to build other web properties and hosting them on HostMonster to drive revenue.
One last thing - for some of you Carty's software may do the trick. It is pretty slick and easy to use and the price is right the last time I checked.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
I've been autblogging with blogger for some time now, using my own autoblogger software and you have to be very careful, as blogger has some pretty advanced spam blog detection, and will terminate your blog and any others that follow the same pattern.
I wrote my autoblogger using PHP (stand-alone app) and ZendGdata which contains (very) complete gmail, and blogger account access APIs. I decided to try something different and instead of using RSS feeds, it instead used google and scraped information from websites, and if the quality score is adequate, it would publish it into the blog.
The glory about this is one app can control hundreds, even thousands of blogger blogs. It does not contain proxy support for google, but that is something I am considering.
If anybody is interested in it, I can provide it as a free BHW exclusive.

Re: Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?
Blogger has something like mail-2-blog feature. So you just have to send a mail to a specified address to post an article in your blog. That makes autoblogging with blogger very simple. I also use a custom developed software (in c#) to post, but the most important point is rewriting the article. I mean, making it unique before posting. Otherwise, you will be spotted and sandboxed fast.

The mail-2-blogger feature requires editing the content so this is NOT autoblogging.
As for sandboxing or duplicate content penalty, read what Matt Cutts of Google has said...
And...based on other SEO experts I have read, I believe the dupe content warning is a "myth" perpetrated by those who want to sell rewrite software. The downside of not rewriting is you will not have unique content to attract and keep visitors.
No one has proved the duplicate content penalty exists! No one!
