That is the part of setting the blog up

It's just an post template for the posts the autoblog plugin creates and it is part of you adding the feeds to the plugin.

    Another example I'm using:

    %if:image%<p>%image%</p>%endif:image%

    %excerpt%.

    Find more on <a target="_blank" href="%link%" title="%title%">CNET</a>
You can automate it by copy pasting it in every feed you create :P Only thing you need to change is the link name.

    Hi,
    Complete newbie..require some help,
Say I have a niche autoblog for "Reduce stress through ayurvedic Medicine"
The main keywords are: reduce stress ayurvedic medicine

Now I want to rank high for the above keyword. If I use All In one SEO/Platinum SEO or any other SEO plugin to generate keywords/meta for the auto posts, how do I get ranking for the main keywords as above?

I mean all the SEO plugins will generate keywords based on content of the post. So how are my main keywords being targetted? Is there anyway this is done? Something that I am missing.

    THanks...setting up my FIRST autoblog!

Testing right now with 2 identical blogs. One rewrites, the other one does not.

It seems that with duplicate content, after having 100.000+ pages indexed - Google clears the cache and deletes up to 80.000 pages so you'll have 20.000 indexed left.

Happened once, let's see what happens if I reach that amount again. (BTW I'm posting up to 250 posts a day - everything gets indexed too).

SEO plugins use the tags as keywords (at least the -> All in One SEO), you can set it so can also use the categories as well.

@Malachute: i have not got the answers of my question and figured out why. U already mentioned them. do not know how i missed them. may be i was looking for a sexy girl in words rather than my answers :P

the thing is that UAW does not work on the new WP. i am planning to downgrade it. :S

the second thing like to know if u kindly answer is which plagin u r using to automated the Autoblogged. i mean it download randomly all the post (in my option) and saved them as draft otherways it will post all of them together same time. could not find any plugin to to that automatically. any help bro?

youtube autoposter works fine with the new WP version.

again thanks a lot as ur this thread made me to understand everything very well. first it looked like i was doomed but as i move on and follow steps everything appears clear. appreciated it bro.

Hey guys, I need some help. I just made an autoblog about 20 days ago, and I haven't made any money from adsense yet. I have about 900 pages indexed on google and I get 200 daily visitors without doing anything and 2000-4000 when I promote with reddit. Please PM me with any ideas on how to monetize it. Oh and I am using WP-Robot without any article rewriting plugin.

Just slap either AdSense on it if you are lazy, otherwise go for CPA leads which supposedly should bring in more money than AdSense, although you have to find the right programs first . Just don't let it look like an MFA (made for adsense) website and you are fine.

Off topic: Google's blogger team is deleting tons of blogger blogs which contain spam articles are just made to earn with AdSense. I would reckon not to put too many ads above the fold. 1 Rectangle and 1 link unit above the fold and then 1 ad unit in the sidebar should do it. This is just to be safe, you can always make more blogs and stay in the safe zone and avoid the Google's ban-hammer.

    Better safe than sorry...

free vs paid hosting? Can I just use a custom domain..www.mydomain.com and use a free hosting such as byethost or 000webhost with the domain? Will it make a difference with google rankings / indexing? I was reading that google does not like free hosting..does this mean only free domains like co.cc or even the hosting?
    Any tips?

Are you sure you entered the right account info in the plugin settings? Double check it.

Paid hosting definitely. Then you have complete control of what you are doing and don't risk getting banned by anything other than Google. I have noticed that there isn't that much difference between an .info domain and .com and if you can spend at leasts 5 bucks a month for hosting, you're all good to go.

Don't make it difficult for yourself just because you want to save a few dollars :P

when you mentioned Google Blog Search, how exactly do you do it? I copied the RSS feed from blog search and it was posting one liners then linking to the original article. It wasn't helping my blog at all but instead helped the other blog . (btw I'm a WP-Robot user).

Hey man thanks a lot for the great info!!!! I have a question.... I'm in the middle of having 5 websites built to create links to my main site(linkwheel) and I'm thinking of creating some autoblogs on all of these sites. Do you think thats a good idea or should I only only create autoblogs on a couple of them????????????????

Even if option B did work, you don't want all of your eggs in one basket. Option B will not allow you to place the blogs on different servers, let alone, different IPs.

I would definitely go with option A. Use option B at first ONLY if you have no money. Then, quickly switch to A.

Excellent information on this page. Thank you OP, I'm extremely appreciative.

In my opinion, it's always best to test and experiment with whatever project(s) you are thinking about starting. When you receive results, you'll then have a better idea at how you can improve and customize your real project to something that suits your style of work.

I believe half the battle is in the mind. Ensuring you have a positive, succeeding mindset complemented with motivation, dedication, discipline and commitment, that half the hard work out the way with.

The other half is at the top of this Thread!

    Thanks again, OP!

haven't read the whole thread yet, but...

couldyou ellaborate on these 2 points? (i can't even save the file without an extension, it adds .txt automatically and doesn't let me rename it. How do i so it?). And what does this file do?

    HTML Code:
Next up is .htaccess, which should be there. If you can't see it with your FTP client then check for an option which allows you to see invisible files. Should be located in the root folder too.

    Add this to it:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>

    # END WordPress

If you still can't find it, then simply upload a regular text file and name it exactly .htaccess with no extentions like .txt or .php!

To make your blog look more natural you need to have an favicon, period.
This can be done by either uploading a 16 by 16 pixel .ico file to your WP root folder, or add an snippet of html to your header.php file. This is what you should add: (most browsers of today already look for an ico file, but it's better to add it anyway)

Currently I'm using this template for the majority of my blogs: (can be edited in each single feed on the bottom - autoblogged only!)

    %if:video%<p>%video%</p>%endif:video%
    %if:thumbnail%<p>%thumbnail%</p>%endif:thumbnail%
    <p>%excerpt%</p>
    The full story can be read/found on <a href="%link%" title="%title%" target="_blank">WEBSITE NAME HERE</a>

where do you add this code?

It seems like this code doesn't link to the original source:

    <a href="%link%" title="%title%" target="_blank">original source</a>

it leads back to a page without my blog and it's "not found".

Basically my template looks like this:

    {content}
    Credits: <a href="%link%" title="%title%" target="_blank">original article source</a>

(with this title of WP-o-matic post not linkable to the source, which is good.)

but what might i be doing wrong that link doesn't point to a right external page?

Also I installed SEO Smart Links, so i wonder if this plugin might be the cause of the breaking a link to original source.
But it's strange since in the post template i included one other external link without %%% etc (just a static link), and that one is working...

After that, sign up with about 10 onlywire accounts. Make them free, don't pay them monthly - it's a waste of money.
    1: General information
Remember what username and password you entered here (write them down somewhere - because once you will have 10+ accounts it starts to become a hassle)
The rest of the information is not important except for the website URL and email (make sure to use a unique one with every sign up)
Website URL: any blogger blog you have access too and don't want. Just make a new one on blogger.com
    2: Pay Plan:
Choose free on the right side.
Ha, this is where we trick them. They have a bot that checks your website if the share plugin is still active or not. That is why we need those easy-made-and-free blogger blogs. If it is not active, your account will get deleted within 24 hours.
Go to your first blogger blog, and go to layout -> add a gadget (third party/java gadget) anywhere you like and paste the code they have given you. (this can only be done once your account has been created so keep it for later)
    3: Terms of condition
Accept the terms and finish the account creation.
Once your account has been created (you don't need to verify it in your email box) log in and go to My Account (settings). There you should see that your site hasn't been confirmed that the button is active.
    Malachute,

I need some clarification about Onlywire accounts:-

As stated do I need min. 5 Onlywire accounts per blog for using Onlywire multisubmitter
    right?

-So I need separate 5 email accounts for those to open 5 onlywire accounts?

-When I sign up new accounts it ask website URL, you have suggested that
Just make a new one on blogger.com. So is it possible that I use ONE blogger.com URL in all 5 onlywire account?

-Suppose as above I used one blogger.com URL for those all 5 onlywire accounts then can I use these accounts on my Wordpress blog? (Onlywire could catch me that I put their button on blogger.com blog but using their services for Wordpress blog)

Also do I need install the Onlywire plugin with Onlywire multisubmitter?

Hope you will answer these Q And I know many BHW members want to know this.

I'm not going to give out more numbers right now, but can tell you that I've bought a dedicated server at Hetzner and going to ditch Hostgator. Hostgator is good if you have some small autoblogs, but not if you're going 'professional' lol :P Come back in a month or so and I'll show you some crazy numbers that will make you shit 7 colors in the toilet.

Onlywire is actually updating their plans right now, allowing you to submit much more per day per account. The reason you needed 5 accounts is that if you have a lot of posts a day - you can't submit them all.

    1) Yes you need a separate email for each of them.
    2) I just made 5 crappy blogs - 1 for each onlywire account.
    3) Don't worry about onlywire catching you for using it on wordpress blogs, they automate verifying and they are probably to lazy to check it out themselves. I haven't run in any problems with my 5 accounts.

Yes you only need to have the button on a different site, don't put it on your money-making websites. Total waste otherwise.

To the last question: No, the onlywire multisubmitter is what you want, not their own plugin.

I agree with the folks saying autoblogging is a lazy man's way to make money online but I think that if the autoblogging plugin or whatever they use is a good one, there's chances one could make easy money with only spending for domain/hosting and some time to set up Wordpress.

Truth is I've seen a bunch of sites using autoblogging plugins that were pure crap, some of them didn't even had a link to the original content which is unacceptable. I believe most of them aren’t making anything worth mentioning.
I’ve also seen quite a few sites that looked pretty good and, judging by their Alexa rank, they do have traffic, therefore sales. It all sums up to how you use autoblogging I think, if you do your homework pick the best keywords (that are searched for but there’s a lack in promotion), one could make a great income off of it.

I’m not a lazy man and I do have my own written blogs, actually quite a few, but I was lately thinking about setting some autoblogging sites see how’s it working.

Most of the successful blogs I saw were using Multipress Lite which is FREE so I think I’m going to use it on this project. At first glance, looks like it takes its content from Yahoo Answers, Flikr and some article directories so it should be good to use. It also creates a link to the original content so there shouldn’t be any issues with people getting angry for their content being used elsewhere.

I’ll let you know how it works out if I have the time to get it started.

    Thanks for reply Malchute.

I have read somewhere on forum that Onlywire multisubmitter not works properly because Onlywire stopped it. Do you experienced same?

One more thing that I have read on their website that they don't submit automated post
to Social bookmarking sites, so how is it possible with Autoblogs?

And also Onlywire have problem with top sites like Digg, Redit, Stumble etc.
Now what is your experience in this regard? Then can I go with Onlywire?

    Need your advice.

Man, this is a great tutorial. I've been trying to make my autoblogged system a little better. I shelled out the $50 to get the newest one, and it just won't function correctly with ANY other plugins I try to activate. The more plugins I enter, the more it screws it up, and they are the same as the ones you mentioned. Something on my side is just funky and have spent days trying to figure it out.

Anyway you could send me a message and help out? More than willing to pay you for your time. I want something that is setup and 100% functional and right now i'm at about 50%, and autoblogged's support I don't think even fully read my support ticket because I told them I read about the blank page issue and tried everything on the page to no avail, and they sent me the same page I told them I read and asked me to try that...wtf.

Yeah man, this forum is good but for autoblog, we still need more automated stuff to make it perfect or near perfect

recently I've used this new system in autoblog and it seems like the best so far

    My autoblog
    starcraft2guide_biz

    The system I used
    bit_ly/dktub6

How do you post full articles like that? Or even better how do you change the amount of characters? I can only get it to post the first few sentences for posts.

Hey Malachute. I've been following your method for about a week now after failing with shez's twitter methods. I have to say that I learned a lot about researching keywords and setting up autoblogs during the time I've been here. It's going to be my first month working on this. So far I have 7 autoblogs up. 5 of them I gave up on and2 of them have highly researched keywords (spent an hour on each). Now I only made .75 two weeks ago and it was just a fluke. It was on one of my fail sites that I gave up on. I spent about 200$USD so I'm kind of in the negative. Very negative. I still have an entire year of hosting, and wp-robot plugin with 5 modules left though so not all is lost for me.

For my niches Theres seems to be no articles I can use on UAW or Free traffic system yet. For one of my failed sites which was a get your ex gf back site I get dozens of articles a day. So for now I'm sticking to wp robot or dupe content (from articlesbase). I always make new content for my intro pages.

My question is, what mightve happened to set my site so low after just a week of creation (it was top 3 after just 2 days of creation and being indexed on goole and yahoo site explorer)? I am using wprobot for this blog (pulling articles only and intertwining adsense in it) so I think google penalized me for dupe content. Theres no warnings for that, right? If so should I continue to build backlinks or start from scratch because I'll keep getting penalized or won't be able to climb back up?

The site at #1 is a very simple wordpress blog with adsense only. I checked its backlinks on site explorer and it has less than 10, a few from its own site and one from ezinearticles. I submitted my own article since ezine is a high pr site which means quaility backlinks. However its taking forever to get through. I have more than a 100 backlinks on my site but they are all low pr. Is one ezinearticle backlink worth more than a hundred low pr backlinks? I just googled my site in the top 100 and the said ezine article from the othe site ranks higher than my entire site. It's also relatively new, around the time my site came out.

I had trickles of traffic with no clicks when I had the top3 for one of my keywords but now I have nothing.
