    wow, thanks malachute, great guide for us noob

    I have question though, regarding Autoblogged, what is the right setting for the Feed Processing option. how many feeds you put, do i need to put different feeds every day and how many post each feed?

    hope for your response, this is where i always get stuck.

    thanks

    Awesome thread!

    With my first autoblog, it was getting really frustrating to find any RSS feeds that gave me more than 2 or 3 lines of content from each post. I wanted the WHOLE enchilada!!!

    That's when I found FiveFilters*org.

    All I need to do is post the original RSS feed link inside their field, and click "Create Feed" and voila!! I get my whole enchilada with a side of rice and beans.

    This nice little trick will give you the ENTIRE RSS post.

    I'm new into mainstream blogging. Seem that most of the blogger like to make autoblogs but i hear some of the users got their adsense accounts banned because of autoblogs.

    How about the CPA networks and autoblogs, are they more liberal?

    Great tutorial thanks! It´s saturday night and I´m sitting at home because I got great friends :/

    So I got time to make my first auto blog!

    But I got some problem...

    You can´t really set an keyword for an autoblog? Let´s say I wan´t to make an autoblog about Pickup and Seduction... So how will this work?

    I´ve started to search for some good keyword with high adsense payment (1,60$) for the keyword. So I think I got to buy the domain in that keywordphrase? But I don´t think that I can rank for that keyword because as I already sayed, the auto posts wich I will get are not keyword optimised... So how will this work?

    Doesn't matter if the keywords aren't optimized. But make sure the first few post which get indexed have the keywords somewhere in there. Make sure the meta description and keyword contains the keyword once + the backlinks you create should include the keyword.

    Also, the title of a blog is determing how it ranks so I don't think it should be a prob. I have an health autoblog which ranks for a high competitive keywords on the first page without it having any autoposts with the main keyword in it. (only the first few posts which I manually created - and got it indexed that way)

    Then again, it has the main keyword in the URL.

    Same here, funny thing is that after wasting a year on white hat blogs I hardly got any money in. While two weeks into autoblogging I'm already earning as much as my part-time job Fucking hilarious, yet so depressing.

    You sure your backlinks are indexed? If not, just verifying a blog with a sitemap does not make it indexed.

    Mate, anytime you want to check what template a blog is using, always check the source file first (there should be a link to the CSS file in the head section). Most of the time there should be something to indicate the blog theme name.

    Hi Malachute,
    Very detail and high quality post you have...
    I am particularly interested in your 0nlywire suggestion ..

    I understand that Onlywire will only post five times in a day. So if your posting frequency is more than five posts per day then some of your posts will not be bookmarked.. Do you think there are alternatives or workaround to this ?

    Thanks

    For example, if you would pull a excerpt from Techcrunch then put "Techcrunch" on that spot instead of the post title. If you would use the post title then it's only beneficial for the original poster. As you are giving him credit with a perfect ******** anchor text backlink. Using his own website name as anchor text won't get him higher in the search results for that specific post. Which allows you to steal some visitors to your own blog, or even outrank him

    Example:

    Use the multi submitter plugin to allow yourself to use more than 1 account. Which in turns let's you submit more than 5 times a day. Up to a maximum of 25 if you have it set on 100% submission chance.

    Google could only object to autoblogs if they discovered them. A few simple things can disguise the fact that they're autoblogs anyway. If you're really worried, find an alternative to Adesene. Then the worst that can possibly happen is you have one autoblog de-indexed. You need lots of them in any case.

    A quick update on the traffic of one of my autoblogs:

    Traffic is increasing, although AdSense earnings are the same at about 2 bucks a day. Yesterday I've finished my redesign on the tech blog (link is hidden somewhere in the post

    Currently 12k pages indexed in Google in just 1,5 month time. Now just to ping some of my backlinks and see what it'll do for the coming months. Never thought it would actually work, but yet it does...

    Ok thanks. But the picture from that template was posted in your first post from you. So it was only an picture and no link to the blog.

    2 Bucks a day with 400 visitors But if you have a lot of blogs than it´s ok to get 2 bucks from each blog a day...

    One question though... Is it necessary to confirm your onlywire account on more than one website? Do you need to own 10 websites/free blogs to get 10 accounts?

    If you check the htaccess quotes from a guy earlier, a link to one of my blogs is hidden in there :P

    But I'm actually not really monetizing it, only got 1 adsense block which is located in every single post. Sometimes getting 2 bucks a click lol, what is up with those advertisers?

    Want to get tons of visitors a day first before I decide how to monetize those poor souls completely.

    I think it's safe to do it on 10 unique blogger blogs, rather than doing it on 1 site. Haven't even tried yet if it's possible

    Install "Custom Excerpts" and "Thumbnail For Excerpts" plugins and then go to appearance -> editor -> index.php then look for this line:

    Code:
    <?php the_content   ....
    Change that to: (don't copy the dots, they are just place holders because all the themes have different text there - just replace the word content with excerpt and you will get the excerpt on the homepage with the read more link + thumbnail of the post)

    Code:
    <?php the_excerpt   .. . ..
    And your done

    Hey again. I got this up and running on several blogs, but there seems to be a problem with my onlywire submissions. I keep getting e-mails from onlywire stating that my submissions are in queue. Are they talking about the submissions that need finalization, or is there something else wrong?

    If they are in qeue, that means that you are submitting more than 5 posts a day for each account. Finalization is only needed for services such as stumble and digg.

    Sorry guys, I´m new in Wordpress. How can I put two adsense blocks on the top of my blog just exactly like in the picture? Is there an plugin? or how will this work?

    It's in my first post...

    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>
    ADSENSE CODE (position left)
    </td>
    <td>
    ADSENSE CODE 2 (right side)
    </td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    voila

    Put it anywhere you want but at least inside the < head > and < / head >tags

    so it should look like this : (ignore the spaces)

    <html>
    < head>
    <link rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" href="favicon.ico">
    < /head>
    < body>
    < /body>
    < /html>

    I'm not sure, my main blog creates over 200 posts a day while some of my micro niche blogs are getting like 5-10 posts max. I'd say keep it at 5 to make it looks more human. Depends on your niche

    Never used a plugin that integrates AdSense for me, so can't help that much on that part. Sorry.

    I don' know if it is the same problem I had and was freaking out about :P but it might just need time to start showing ads on your site. My ads where blank for every post then 1 or 2 days later they all showed up

    Hey, I noticed that on your herbs blog, you have 4 adsense ads on a page. Is that allowed? Isn't the maximum 3 ads?
