Best Wordpress CMS Theme?

What is the best wordpress theme for a completely customizable CMS layout?

I'm talkin about themes similar to:
wpremix.com
ithemes.com
studiopress.com

I've seen studio and ithemes on BHW and have played around with them a little bit. Although it seems like neither suite really offers any ease of use with the newest version of wordpress.

Anyone have any thoughts on what the top 5 or so most customizable themes are?

no such thing as best. find one that suits your needs and modify it to your liking. ive used premium themes for totally different niches than theyre designed for. mmost of the premium themes ive used work up to the latest

Have you checked out Vibrant CMS? It is one of the cool Wordpress CMS themes I personally like!

Try Flexibilty 2 which is free and very easy to cusomise. I use it on a few autoblogs and it works very well.

Yeah I have used Flexibility 2 before, and it is decent considering it is free.

I'm going to give this one a shot tomorrow. I tried v1.0 and was impressed with the interface, but didn't have enough time to really play around with it.

From what I've read, the difference between 1.0 and 1.5 was huge, so I'm assuming 1.6 is even better?

My vote is for Flex2 for most intents and purposes. It probably has the best all around use of many of the more well known themes out there. Great for autoblogs.

By the way a previous post mentioned Artisteer, dont bother the themes it creates are generally garbage

I played around with this headway 1.6 theme a little on one of my new sites and looks to work. It must be the developers one since you can remove the footer.

garbage!!

this is because most people are too lazy to use artisteer to its fullest. You can make ANY site layout with Artisteer, i even made a site once which looks like thesis theme. There is (almost) no limitation in regards to design w/ artisteer since you can change everything. Most artisteer themes by others i see look the same, dont ask me why.

I vote for thesis too. It's bit of learning curve in the begining but once you get the hang of it, you will simply love it.

It's more like a swiss knife of sorts that allows you to dos lot of stuff when you get comfortable with using the tools.
