Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
If you are using wordpress, you could try using the super cache plugin on your blogs. That should lower your cpu usage.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
VPS or dedi is the best for autoblogging, also dedicated IP and C class IPs.
It seems that you are using shared hosting at the moment.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
To be honest, if you use 10% cpu of such a powerful server by your webhosting and don't make enough money to invest into a dedicated server then you're doing something wrong

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
Its easy to get rid of cpu usage
since justhost allocated x% of max cpu usage/acc
then u can sign up 9 account at just host

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
1. It could be you use a lot of plugins
2. check your images sizes etc
3. use the sidebar cache
4. the best way to use the wp robot is vary the time for each keyword to pull the content, eg keyword 1 = 24 hours, keyword 2 = 36 hours etc
5. if you use xml sitemap, check the filesize and the content of the sitemap, xml sitemap is cpu and mem eater.

i think so.
i try looking cheap VPS too but the problem are;
1. is it enough 256 memory to manage 10 full autoblog ? (because my budget only for this one)
2. as i a newbie with VPS, is there any WPS hosting provide free of charce to transfer all of my sites?
3. if any VPS can do that to me i try to used it ?
thanks fr your share.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
get a dedicated server if you need a lot of cpu, the vps providers will boot you as well if you need a lot.
256mb memory will most likely not do it if you have a lot of traffic.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
well for the xml sitemap :
- turn off the automatically update xml sitemap if new post is created
- then create cron jobs for the xml sitemap
what kind of package did you buy ?
one hostg*tor reseller can be use for around 20 autoblogs. (wprobot/autoblogged/reviewazon/cc/feedwordpress you name it, i've test it all). but that five point + supercache and dbcache will do fine. Just remember to vary time you pull the content.
if you can share another plugins you used maybe i can help identified more problems

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
I have my blog setup so the scripts run on my local box but the changes get added to the remote blog, simply using the same database.

First i want to tell you.
i'm NEWBIE who try to earn some money from blog and all i know are :
setup all of my blog to be full autoblog with good plugins but without know there's an effect to my CPU (overload).
when i got a problem (my account suspend) i try looking some reference how to get solution with overload.
and most of reference i've got said : use cache plugin.
and i've used it (super cache and DB cache) but this morning my account was suspend again (even i used cache plugin)
pfff.. so confused
like another BWH said (justone : thanks for your info) i have conclusion there's no solution except upgrade to Dedi or use VPS (forgive me if i'm wrong)
i don't remeber what another plugins i used at my blog (i forget to note it)
and now my account suspend.
ASAP i tell you what plugin i used so you can identified it to prevent from overload.
now i'm confused..i do nothing except waiting my web host unsuspend my account.
thanks nasgorkam. for your help.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
I'm not familiar with wordpress, but that's a scheduling mechanism
It's there to execute various commands at specific times.
I guess your wordpress will be passive once you deactivate it, but that's just a guess

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
You really can not "de-activate" the wp-cron for wordpress. Even if you deleted the file you would have big issues down the road.
Dedicated is the solution, but since money is an issue, then try these tips:
- Stop all Wp-r*bot posts.
- Delete any future postings
- Get rid of the google sitemaps generator (for now)
- Limit the posts per page to 5 (in the settings section)
- Take off any extra widgets you have in the sidebar (recent posts, recent comments, calendar, etc .....) these take CPU to show them.
- Definitely have the super cache plugin going
- If you are using the pingcrawl plugin, stop!
- If you are using the onlywire plugin, stop!
- If you are using the yarpp plugin, stop!
Basically stop everything you are doing, and get the account unsuspended. Then slowly activate one blog at a time, and see where that gets you.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
^^ Agree.
Also go through your template and replace all the useless DB look ups for the blog url etc with the hard coded strings.
Try and choose templates that aren't very image-heavy, and check how many scripts you're calling in your header.
Combine the JS calls to one file - and the same with the css. Use minifiers on them first.
If you can on your shared host - enable gziping the output to save BW.

Re: [help] 10% CPU Policy
Well with autoblogs it might be a problem, but I basically host 1 copy at my host, and 1 copy on my home server, then I just set my home-server copy to use the same database as the host copy, however it wont work if you have something that downloads files to wordpress.

Just change permission to this files to 000. As you see only 4 blogs have problems,so check, possible some other plugins not working correct. As I understood wpcron just indicate that something wrong with other plugins,at least my support told that.
Also, run wpcron at the different time.
By the way,I run 180 autoblogs on shared hosting, business plan of hostgator, for 2 month. Was suspended once with similar problem, only 6 blogs from 180 have the problem,so just disabled this 6 wpcron files.
I even didn't use supercash at all yet,but now'll install it to all blogs.
